I like this feeder/watering station. Years ago, the norm was to have dog bowls on the floor for them to eat and drink. Now we know better. Our dog is around 50 lbs and this stand is at its highest point. We use it for food only and it is hers alone. The other dogs have their own They are very much aware of their place to eat. The stainless bowls are large. Ellie is a slow eater, so no need for a different bowl. The feeder is made of a black plastic. I wipe it occasionally to clean up crumbs. I like the stainless bowls, the height of this feeder, and how it is easily wiped. This is a great feeder for a medium sized dog.
