Durable, Weather Resistant, Sanitary
We have been rescuing Great Danes for a decade – large dogs REQUIRE raised food bowls to prevent digestion issues. However – most of these raised feeders that are on the market are 1)not the right height 2) collect dirt, drool, and bacteria around the edges 3)not sturdy or have a huge foot print. This stand fixes ALL of these issues. I have very large dog bowls for 2 large dogs – one being extremely large. I ordered this stand in the standard height and the adjustable height. The standard is perfect for my med/lrg dog and the adjustable height is perfect on the middle setting for my extra large dog. The hold the bowl in place but still allow it to be lifted out with ease. They take up no more space than the bowl itself while offering a well balanced sanitary place to keep the bowl elevated. Any adjustments needed can be done simply by turning the twisting nuts that hold each leg in place where you want it. They came well packaged and even had instructions – very straightforward on how to put together, but the fact that they included them just in case was a nice touch. I am impressed with these and wonder now how I did without them for so long.Hereâs my rating scale for products:1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws. I would never under any circumstances use again.2 Stars: Do not buy. Its usable at best, but you could easily find something better.3 Stars: Just ok. Buy if you can’t find an alternative. Some issues need to be addressed.4 Stars: Recommend purchase. This item met my expectations.5 Stars: I love this product and would highly recommend to friends & family.Additional Information: As a Vine reviewer, I know that people depend on these early revies as I to depend on reviews when shopping on Amazon. GREAT STAND!!
This was very easy to put together. I had two 9 year olds put it together by themselves. I have very big dogs so I had them put it on the tallest setting. It is actually very sturdy. You can adjust the top to fit a wide range of bowls, small to big. I currently have a very large 5 quart water bowl on it and both my dogs took right to it and seem to really like it. The height appears to be perfect for them. That said, one of my dogs did purposely try to knock it over and succeeded in dumping water everywhere. But, that’s on him, not the stand. I was actually impressed with how well the stand held the bowl that he was trying to pull off of it. He didn’t get the bowl. He’s a 14 month old huge German Shepherd puppy. He loves to play in water and loves to carry bowls around and throw bowls across the room. All that said, I was really impressed that the stand did not fall over and even more impressed that it held on to the bowl so well that he didn’t get the bowl off it. So far, we had that one incident and it has been completely good since and still standing. That alone, surprised me. I did put it in the corner of the room. I am seriously thinking about getting another one to have an additional raised large water bowl in another room. This stand has 3 elevated sizes. Roughly, 8 and a half inches, 10 and a half inches, and 12 and a half inches, so it can accommodate a wide range of dog heights/sizes. I was impressed that you could adjust the top to fit a wide range of bowls. The bowl I have in it is huge and I was pleasantly surprised that it fit on it. Highly recommend.

Fairly sturdy and very configurable raised dog bowl stand
RECOMMENDATION:Thumbs Up: Very configurable based upon bowl size and dog heightTHE GOOD:1. These are metal and pretty sturdy. Do keep in mind though the higher that you elevate the bowl the more unstable it is, especially with smaller bowls.2. Includes good instructions for assembly even though you donât really need them.3. Very quick to assemble.4. They have plastic caps at the top and bottom of all legs, so that the rough metal edges wonât hurt your dog.5. The black painted metal looks OK, although it wonât win any art contests.6. One of the reasons why I got this bowl stand was because it actually had a platform for the bowl, vs just having the arms support the bowl. That is a good design.7. The height adjusts to three different levels via pre-drilled screw holes.8. The easiest way that I found to adjust the bowl size was to loosen all of the hand knobs under the top of the stand (3), put your bowl in and then push the legs all together until they hold the bowl securely, then re-tighten the knobs. That was quick and worked really well.9. Pretty good deal for the price.THE BAD:1. Nothing so far. Dog seemed to like it (see pictures) and now she does not have to bend down for mealtimes. She was getting some neck problems and this did seem to help.

What a difference!
We have the large dogs and it was obvious leaning over to reach the bowls on the floor was hurting the largest one’s neck. I looked and looked at stands and finally settled on this one, mainly for its adjustability. It arrived today and I put it together and popped their food bowl into it. It took me maybe ten minutes total, as I decided to use a different bowl and had to readjust the top portion. It is very nicely made, with screws and nuts that have easy to adjust plastic knobs attached. The feet and top of the posts have bumpers to avoid scrapes and scratches. The metal seems to be fairly heavy gauge – certainly enough for this item’s function. The powder coating is a nice matte black and is even and send like it will be durable.I rarely buy a second of something the same day the first arrives, but this stand is an exception. My dogs liked it so much (and there’s less mess!) that I ordered a second one for their water dish.
