First Review 12/08/2024:This photo is before I brushed it out, but after it’s brushed, it looks nicer lolSo far we love this cat tree (and so do our cats)!The box it came in is hardy, and in my opinion, definitely helps keep everything from getting damaged. The parts were packages tightly, so you know it wasn’t banging around in there either.I put this together by myself, and it took about 1.5 hours, only because I made sure to go slow, organize and count all of the parts (yes, even the bolts), and follow the directions properly. All of the pieces are labeled with stickers so it’s really simple to keep track.The most time-consuming part was putting together the two houses, because you need to install 4 slim pillars at each corner with 2 bolts each.The install was incredibly easy since the instructions were clear and easy to read.The fabric is very soft, and the scratch roping feels secure.The overall structure is sound if you tighten the bolts well enough.It does come with an anti-tip strap, but it comes pre-attached to the structure. This could be either a good or a bad thing depending on whether you want to use it right away or not.We aren’t wanting to use it as of right now (because it is really sturdy), so I had to cut it off.Good news is that you can reattach it with screws (not provided) or staple it well (not provided).The toys it comes with are good, but our cats are menaces, so they ripped it out a few times already – no big deal. It also comes with one replacement ball.It’s pretty tall, but the only trouble I had with the height was installing the very top perch (I’m 5’4”) – this still wasn’t an issue, I was able to tip-toe and stretch to reach it.TIP: Install the perch onto its pillar before installing the pillar at the top. Makes it easier for shorter people lolFunctionality is perfect, all of our cats use every single part of it.The only con I have for this at the moment is that the very top perch and the rectangular perch at the bottom are not square with the rest of the structure, so putting it flat up against the wall isn’t possible. This isn’t a big deal, but I’d prefer it to be completely flat against it.This is the most expensive cat tree we’ve purchased to date, but I’d say it’s definitely worth the money!I plan on updating this review after a few months or so.

Construction TIP: There are two holes in some corners of the condos, so *make sure you put the small posts to build up inside the condo in the outermost holes* as the other is reserved for the large posts that connect the condo itself to another piece of the tower. It won’t work if you do it the other way._____This thing is tall and it’s great for my 12’ ceilings!I put this next to my bed, and my 10lb cat sleeps on it most nights. My 20lb Maine Coon prefers my bed or his lower perch, but he will hang out in the “condos” during the day sometimes.While he (literally) hangs out, he could tuck up in there if he really tried.The “windows” in the condos are adorable, but watch your fingers!The only part that is awkward for a larger cat is having to go through the upper condo and turn around 180° to then get on top of it to get to the nice, big, triangle bed… so he doesn’t ever go up there. He’d fit nicely if he did make it up there but he’s a pretty mellow dude content with the highest condo.My little one is absolutely thrilled with this purchase, and climbs all the way to the top so fast, and loves to play on it next to me or mess with her brother when he’s on it.She sleeps in the bucket/hammock part sometimes too and it’s adorable.I use a reusable lint remover on it regularly to keep it in decent shape, and put some washable beds in the condos.Overall, very happy with the purchase!
