Calming and reduced redness
I’m already a fan on their brightening mask, but wanted to give this one a try. I have cystic acne and I have a bad habit of picking at my face when I’m stressed, which has only gotten worse with this whole quarantine business. So unfortunately, my face has taken a beating recently. I’ve had great experiences with products containing Centella Asiatica, so I was excited to give this mask a go. Like their brightening mask, it comes out fully soaked with product, so you know you’re getting your money’s worth. It had a nice clean smell – slightly medicinal/herbaceous, not overwhelming at all. I like to let these sit on my face for about 30 minutes. There’s so much product on the masks that it doesn’t dry out for a long time, so you can really relax with it for a while. Afterwards my face felt cool and relaxed, my red spots clearly less inflamed. The next morning my face looked very even toned, and the texture of my skin was smoother, more healed over. I definitely recommend this – but I docked 1 start because it has the same effect as their brightening mask. I couldn’t tell the difference between them except that this mask isn’t as moisturizing. Overall though, I don’t think you can wrong with any of these masks. I have highly reactive skin, and FaceTory products have always agreed with me. Pricing is great, there’s ample product in each pack, and they actually improve my skin. Just a really solid product all around.

Changed formula?
I first had these masks a couple of years ago and they were easy to use and had an even spread of moisturizer. But now the moisturizer comes all clotted and collects at the bottom of the mask and leaves the rest of it damp instead of wet with moisturizer. Itâs an unpleasant feeling collecting the polled moisturizer and reapplying it all over my mask. But it skill leaves my skin glowing. I will probably change masks.

Not your average sheet mask!
These sheet masks are unlike any other Iâve used. The serum/cream that these masks are saturated in is much richer. Itâs definitely more like a cream and the mask itself is quite a bit thicker, which I prefer because I canât stand those paper like mask that donât stick to your skin. This applies like a second skin and stays put.I love how my skin feels after using this mask. Because itâs so rich I use this mask once to two times per week and use different masks in between. This mask is excellent when your skin is really dehydrated. It calms redness and irritation and has never caused breakouts.I donât recommend using before makeup application but recommend using at night before sleep because it takes awhile to really absorb the cream and itâs a little too rich to use at the start of your day.Highly recommend if you have chronically dry skin with flakiness or fine lines, sensitive skin prone to irritation or redness.
