We love these bulbs, very easy to program on a schedule by the day or by the week. In the winter when it is dark coming home it’s nice to have the porch light and other lights on so you’re not coming in to a dark house and if you dont have it on a schedule, easy to open your app and tuen any lights on or off from your phone. The different colors are nice for fun and having the different variations of white light is nice too, a little softer light in the den and brighter white in other areas. We have bought many of these and love them.

Great for starting off conversion to smart home or just adding a few wifi bulbs to the house
I’ve had these bulbs for about a year now and this is what I have taken away from the experience.As with all technology, there will be a learning curve and you will encounter issues. With that being said, the issues that I did encounter could have been less stressful if I had simply written down personal instructions and planned more ahead of time.There were a few issues with the bulbs themselves…not working properly, not connecting, errors, etc. Those were addressed quickly by the customer service folks and I was promptly sent new devices that worked without issue.I say these are great for people that are new to the smart home world for a few reasons.If you are planning to add a few bulbs to your house…maybe a room or two…these will work just fine. Once you reach the point where you have 25+ smart bulbs though, you will likely run into problems. The bulbs will clog up your network and periodically disconnect causing a headache.I reduced the number of Feit bulbs to 15 and haven’t had a problem since.The other 20 or so lights that were previously Feit lights are now replaced with GE wifi bulbs. GE wifi bulbs, and other brands like Philips are better suited for a person looking to have a large number of bulbs on their network.-Integration with Alexa was easy as could be-Running 15 or so bulbs in a house with wifi placed on the third floor, and blubs located on all three floors…no issue with connectivity (since I reduced from 35)-Brightness is was I would expect from a normal light bulb-I have some Feit recessed lights and I absolutely love themThe last thing I would mention would be to avoid mixing smart bulbs with other brands. That was the most common situation that resulted in problems. If you’re going to have multiple smart bulb brands in your house (like me), make sure you do not cross brands in rooms / groups that you have set up on Alexa…avoid the cross branding and you’ll likely avoid 90% of the problems I ran into early on.

I have Echo dots, pops, and shows.You will need one of those for these to work.That is all; no bridge is required.First, set it up in its own app. Make sure to name it there too. Example: Hallway Light, etc.You dont’ have to but that way you don’t have to do it in the Alexa app. The name transfers over.It was easy.With Alexa you can do basic colors like dark blue, dark orange etc, but with their app, you get your millions of color choices. To keep the color, simply say, “Alexa, turn off blah blah” (hallway light or whatever) When you tell Alexa, ‘Turn on Hallway light” that color will remain.The price is perfect for a 3-packHIGHLY RECOMMEND | GOOD PRICE POINT | EASY SET UP

I’m light sensitive to LED and can use these bulbs!
For years I have avoided LED bulbs in favor of incandescent because I need the warmer hues or I have migraines. My partner bought these bulbs for a room I rarely use and I was surprised to find that I can tolerate the light they produce. The app is finicky, but has a lot of options. I had one evening where I had to reinstall the app because it kept deleting the lights from the menu options after they had been turned off. It can be hard to change color sometimes without having to turn the light off/on and then go back into the settings. Otherwise, the ability to change the hues and intensity work pretty well and allow me to do fine adjustments so that I can use these lights. The music/party function doesn’t work at all with most of the music I have tried because it causes a weird strobing affect unlike other lights I’ve seen with the same feature. At this point, I’ve installed these bulbs in all the rooms of the house because it’s nice to have something I can use without headaches.

Yo ya tenia focos de la marca y la app instalada. Asi, que me resulto muy fácil agregarlos a mi configuración. Sin embargo, si son tus primero focos de este tipo, son fáciles de instalar, la app es fácil de entender y son compatibles con sistemas como Alexa. Lo unico que se puede complicar un poco, es programarlos, para que se enciendan y apaguen en un horario determinado, pero nada que tome mas de 5min.
