Very good dedicated video camera option
I really like this camera. I didn’t think the video quality would be that great based on the onboard screen image, but I was wrong. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was able to learn to use it effectively, even with the gimbal. The image didn’t bounce and remained stable throughout filming. I recommend getting one if you want to get away from using your phone, but don’t want to spend the money on a high-dollar setup.

Gimbal not working Error message
I bought this in October and have used it just a couple of times indoors and I get this error( Gimbal protected tap to resume). I then tap it and it clears for just a minute and it comes back again. I researched it online but never got a definite solution. I missed the deadline to return the product back and it is hard to get an answer from the company. I just spent 300 dollars for a camera that does not even rotate hardly at all and keeps getting that error.

Almost Perfect with some minor flaws
Is this pocket camera for you? Well that depends, what are you using it primarily for? Just Vlogging? or do you need Car Shots? Drone Shots? Mounting on yourself or a pet for an FP shot?If you just need a handheld just for Vlogging, I’d look elsewhere, like their FT Pocket or maybe another lower cost alternative. The FT Pocket 3 is a hybrid of sorts and adds more function with it’s magnetic mounting features and small design. I’ve put it on my car and the video quality looks great and it stayed on my vehicle even at around 45-50 mph. The wind did move the gimbal slightly but the car shot looks good.I purchased the optional chest mount kit and it works great. Although be warned this camera is not water proof. It’s certainly not an Action Camera (like a GoPro) but if you’re casually hiking or want to vlog hands free, the chest kit is a great buy.Video quality is great, I have yet to test it in really low light as I primarily do outdoor vlogging. However I have used this as video webcam for game streaming in a dark room and it functioned beyond my expectations. Yes you can connect this to computer and it looks MUCH better than a regular computer webcam. I’ve streamed over an hour with it no issues (it does get a little warm) while on OBS studio.Pros:A little more Budget Friendly than a DJIGood Battery LifeGreat Video QualityShoots up to 120FPS in 1080p and 60FPS in other resolutionsUser friendly menu optionsMagnetic Mount adds some more usability (Car Mounting, great for offroaders or car shots)Cons:Audio is pretty lackluster, especially if you touch any of the microphone holes or mess with buttons while it’s recording (loud audible clicking noises) and there is no way yet to connect an external microphone (Feiyutech please fix this and let me connect my wireless mics!)So to end this review, I’d say it’s not a bad buy especially if you want a hybrid of sorts. It does things even a DJI can’t with it’s magnetic mounting (makes it more flexible to grab car shots). If you can be careful with the audio issue, it should make for a solid camera. Just don’t touch the audio sensors and don’t click buttons while you’re recording

This has a permanent place in my camera bag!
I recently took a trip to Greece and brought this little guy along. It’s compact, takes hardly any room and the snap on cover provides excellent protection. I also purchased the optional hand controller which has a joystick for orienting the gimbal, starting, stopping, etc. and provides more recording time when attached to the camera itself (though it doesn’t need to be).Most recently I acquired a 360º camera and am doing most of my shooting with it, but this is perfect for B-Roll, and frankly the image is sharper and resolution higher than the 360 cam. This comes with a small fold out tri-pod and smartphone holder, but as mentioned I decided to add the optional controller as I don’t want to tie up my phone while shooting.The camera has a strong magnet on the base and as you can see in the attached video, it stayed in place on the roof of my rental car during a very harrowing drive through the heart of Athens to the airport. This video will also give you a sense of the image quality, which is very sharp. You will notice however that the gimbal simply cannot stay in place when the vehicle passed 50 kph. At 80 kph it was flopping around, but the cool thing is, it always resets itself as soon as possible.I do a fair amount of interviews and this will now accompany me on all of those, to provide a second or third camera angle. It has its limitations, but that’s something that can be said about every single camera on the market. Even so, this fits a niche in video camera world and I love the fact that it’s so compact. Keep this camera dry and it should last you a very long time. The gimbal is smooth, responsive and overall it’s just a very cute and powerful addition to my gear bag. It charges quickly too. I’m very happy to have it.
