Great Drone for Beginners
This drone is a lot of fun and perfect for beginners. The setup was easy, and the controls are simple to use. The dual cameras capture clear photos and videos, and the adjustable angles are a nice touch. Itâs lightweight, foldable, and easy to carry around. The battery life is good with two batteries, giving plenty of time to enjoy flying. The auto return and smart hover features work well and add extra safety. Overall, a great value for the price and a fun way to get into drones.

Lost Forever On First Flight
Bought this for my God Son. He was so excited to fly it. I have my own drone that I have been flying for a few months so I know there are specific things that need to be done before flying. I followed the directions and it was ready to go or I thought it was. Keep in mind this was the first flight. He brought it up about 20 to 30 feet and it started drifting. We had no control of it. It did not move in the direction we were wanting it to go. It drifted further and further. Couldn’t get control. It drifted over the homes that were a distance away from where we took off. After it went over the homes we couldn’t see it any more and we ran to get in the car to go find it. It was nowhere to be found. I am a technical kind of guy and I know how to set things up according to the directions. My God Son was definitely really bummed out and I was upset that he wasn’t able to fly it

Bad Instructions. Finicky. Fun Inside. Too Lightweight To Withstand Much Wind. Nice Case.
This is our first drone, and we basically just wanted to try one out to see if it would be something my husband and I could enjoy. The instructions are extremely hard to follow, and there are even areas of text that apparently failed to print onto the pages, as evidenced by the middle of several words missing if they happened to align with a certain quadrant of the page. We mostly gave up trying to decipher the instructions and figured out how to fly this drone using trial and error.It wasnât too difficult to get the hang of inside a room in our house, since weâre extremely experienced gamers. So far, we have not attempted to pair it to our phone, and thereâs a good chance we may never do that. Itâs easier to fly inside simply because there is no wind. When trying to fly this extremely lightweight drone outside, even the slightest bit of wind can greatly alter its trajectory, so weâve mostly been saving outside excursions for the very stillest of days. This drone can be finicky to power on and off, sometimes requiring folding the arms in to do something like a hard reboot, I guess. Iâm not totally sure why that seems to work, but it does, so maybe try that if it stops working after a crash or bad landing.The case is pretty darned nice and convenient, so Iâm thrilled that it was included. The two batteries are easy to charge with the included, short UBS-A/micro-USB charge cable, and itâs nice to have a backup to switch out whenever your first battery dies, as these batteries donât hold their charge for more than probably 10 minutes or so.Overall, this is a fun drone to experiment with, but donât expect to rely on any helpful instructions, donât expect it to have great outdoor maneuverability, and expect plenty of weird tech issues.

Fun but drifty
This drone works really well, and it’s lots of fun to play with. But it doesn’t have the best control system, and it’s very hard to make it hover in place. There is a calibration mode that theoretically allows you to adjust the zero throttle defaults to eliminate drift, but it’s resolution isn’t quite sufficient to do the job very accurately. What this means is that this is an OUTDOOR toy! I tried it in a rather large living room, thinking there would be plenty of room to compensate if it drifted. Nope. I fired it up, it lifted off about 2 ft, and then it promptly listed hard to port and crashed into a wall. I of course tried again with the same result. When I came to my senses and took it outside, I had a lot more fun.The drone did drift when I launched it outside, but I had more time to play with the stocks and manually compensate. Then I clicked the cal button and tweaked the stock biases a bit. Much better, but I still wouldn’t launch this inside.With a successful launch, hover and spin around the yard under my belt, I installed the app and connected to the camera. I relaunched and flipped between the front and bottom cameras. The images were pretty clear but not amazing. Honestly, about what I expected. This is not a $3k pro movie making drone, so I was happy with the quality. I did not get the app controls working, so my phone was on a table, and I flew with the remote, but I will try to get that working. It seems like it would be way more fun to drive, looking through the cameras. I do wish there were a phone mount on the controller, so you could choose either option, but no.I haven’t tried any of the other functions of this drone, since I need much more space – like a park – to feel comfortable going too high, etc. I did play enough to verify the batteries each last several minutes, as advertised.Overall, this is great little beginner drone for the price. Just don’t use it inside until you’re sure it won’t go crazy and break your TV.
