Sturdy water proof pet pad
I received the pet pad for my two Chihuahuas to lay on. I never close their crate door, especially when the heat pad is on. The dogs must be free to get off the heating pad if they need to for safety reasons. It has a timer setting with options from 4, 8, 12, and 24 hours. The pad itself is a waterproof canvas type material. I put a soft thin blanket over it so my Chihuahuas can be comfy and cozy while laying on it. It’s durable, thick, has a nice appearance, and a canvas texture. Fair value for the cost. My girls love it in the cooler weather.

They work well for the winter
These heating pads did the job when the temps got well into the negatives this winter for my bunnies. It gave them a safe space to keep warm. The cable has a chewing guard on it so they weren’t able to tear it up when they pulled it inside of their cage. They are chewing on the pad itself a little bit, but its holding up pretty well overall and it did what I needed it to do on the coldest nights. I definitely will be buying more of these for the new additions when the winters get crazy.

Keeps the strays around my house warm
I bought a couple of these for each of my cats because they refused to come inside during the winter. I put them on the floor of their house and also hung them on the wall. When a couple of strays started occupying the house, I bought more and set up another house. They worked so well, I also bought one for my son’s outside cat. I love being able to set the timer the most. I generally just put the heat on high because they are pretty small and they don’t get overly hot.

Perfect size, waterproof, good controller.
I purchased this heating pad thinking it’d be too small, or smaller than some of the others advertised on Amazon, but it fits perfectly as a nice little warm spot for a cat bed.I have the temperature set to “Level 5,” and though the heat isn’t entirely consistent (it’ll be warmer some hours vs. others, though I assume this is just the heat regulation so that it doesn’t overheat), it’s nice and warm without being too hot (or too cool). The timer is also a useful feature.For anyone like me who’s not very good about measuring things or imagining how large dimensions are, this has the surface area of a medium/large frying pan. Good if you want a nice patch of heat, but if you want something that your pet will entirely fit on, consider a bigger pad. I find it’s large enough that my kitties like to sit on it without it being bigger than the bed.The cover for this pad is plastic and water repellant. It feels like a thicker raincoat-type fabric; I don’t mind it because I use this pad under a blanket or pillow for my cats, but if you want something softer or fuzzier for your pet to sit directly on, this probably isn’t it. The cover does make it easy to clean, though.There’s about 1ft of cable between the pad and the temperature ‘remote’ that’s covered in the black coil; the rest of the cable is just a standard white cable. Cats haven’t chewed through it (though mine don’t usually chew on cables, so YMMV).
