Must Have
Installed it on my stock Ender 3; it has made a big difference. No more elephant’s foot on large prints. The bed is evening heated and the temp is consistent as well.Install is easy; take off the bed (be careful about the heating element connections), and mark the bed screw holes, I used a nail to make the hole thru the insulation, line up the screw hole, peel, and stick.Reinstall the bed, level it, and run a bed-level test print. I used CHEP (YouTube).

Super sticky so be careful when installing
It was easy to install but be careful with the glue. It is a 1 shot install so take your time and make sure it is all lined up before you stick it down. The temperature across the plate is now more even and I see slightly faster heat up times.

You can simply cut and put it on the bed. Donât touch the adhesive side as it will rip off from the foam.

This solved my uneven heating issue
My Ender Extender XL has a 400x400mm bed with the stock heater and I had a real issue with getting prints to stick away from the center. I haven’t found a larger bed heater that matches my bolt pattern so I tried one of these. It made a great difference in keeping the bed more evenly heated. It looks like it will last a long time, and since I got two in the package I have a spare for sometime in the future.The insulation has strong adhesive. Just peel off the protective film and stick it on. Make sure you get it lined up right because when it’s stuck, it’s stuck!

Keeps entire bed at a more consistent temp
These were easy to install. I just took off the bed and poked holes where the screws go through. I put these on an Ender 3 Pro and Ender 3 S1. On the Ender 3 Pro I did have to print a new wire support for the bed power wires and thermistor. The spring didn’t have enough room to adjust. Otherwise it was all good!

It’s a good product. But I’m not a fan.
This is a great product for a fixed bed like an Ender 5, Voron, VzBot, or other CoreXY style printer (I know the Ender 5 isn’t CoreXY).But for my Ender 3 S1 this was a flop. I had to cut away a lot of it to clear the Y motor and the frontbelt adjuster and it messed with my bed leveling because of how thick it was.However I will admit that my bed temperatures were very stable so it’s a good product. Adheres great – too well actually as it’s been a nightmare to remove.But maybe not the best option for a bed slinger i3 style Cartesian printer.

Changed the bed temperature completely.
On the Ender 3 V2 bed this changed it from being just warm on the edges to hot on the edges when set to 60 C.Think this insulation makes a big difference for the better.You do have to cut 4 holes in this for where the screws are but that isn’t too challenging. Watch a YouTube video of someone Installing this and you’ll see. Make sure you allow space for the springs or silicon spacers as well when cutting.
