Very versatile
We use these bulbs in our front garage lights and inside in our living room. They are excellent and has an app that is easy to use. We can even connect them to Alexa and have settings like âAlexa, movie nightâ and it changes the light color, strength and which lights are on.

Good lights, but hard to connect
I actually got these lights more for my office background as I make youtube content. But as I don’t have much of a place to connect lights behind me, I moved 3 of the 4 lights to the outside of my house. The britghtness is fine, although in most non white colors, they are somewhat dim. But the problem I have with these is that I have to get up close if I want to change the colors (orange/black (dark) for Halloween, red/green for christmas, etc.) and sometimes one or two still won’t connect. But beyond that, they work pretty well.

Okay, I’m sold on home automation tech.
I don’t own an Alexa. And I don’t have a lot of “smart” tech in my house. But I got some of these light bulbs, and it introduced me to the possibilities of what you can do with a little money and some free apps.Downloaded the Cync app, and connected to the devices via Bluetooth. Very intuitive how you connect them to your home network. Cool features on the app itself, but if you download Google home, you can use the Google assistant to control the bulbs as well. (Don’t run both apps at the same time, it causes a conflict)With Google home, you can create routines based on scheduled times or voice que’s… it’s pretty wild how easy they make it.Some things you don’t even have to program. Once you have all your lights added, you can simply say, “okay Google, turn the lights on.” Boom the lights come on.They work great. Experiment with the commands. You’ll be surprised how smart the app is.

No significant difference in brightness between these and the 16Watt version, but these are only about half the price. These work just as well as the more expensive version, however it is worth noting that, especially at low brightnesses, there are some slight variations in color between the two versions as you rotate through the color wheel. As long as you stick with just one bulb type, it shouldn’t matter.I will definitely be purchasing these 9.5 Watt bulbs instead of the 16s in the future.

If you are looking for smart bulbs that you can use for scenes and integrate with alexa these are perfect! We love these and have them installed almost everywhere now. Full color/dimmable as well

Great lights
These work well with Google. I haven’t had any connection problems like I did with other brands. I will say though that the colors are not as rich and/or deep as the other brands.
