So far testing it out the motor seems to work well, even at the farthest angle. I was initially concerned about the compatibility with the GoPro 13 due to the description not including if the 13 was compatible.I did run into a small issue at first connecting the Bluetooth but after resetting the wireless connections on the GoPro it seems to work flawlessly.

Motor fails at far angles
The build quality seems robust and the gimbal is pretty heavy. Smooth movements when it works and learning the controls make it easy to use.But, the motor will fail if you try to angle it too much. I’m not using it with a GoPro but with an Insta360 GO3 which is within the specified limits of the gimbal. It still seems to work okay for general use walking around but if you angle it too much the motor just quits. Just something to keep in mind if you’re into creative shots.EDIT: After using it a bit more, I’m concerned about the reliability. Even when balanced and at a neutral position, you can sometimes feel the motor “struggling” through small vibrations in the handle. Sometimes it’s fine with no vibrations felt at all. Normal movement from side to side is mostly fine but sometimes when slightly angling up or down, it’ll cause the motor to fail and you have to restart it to get the gimbal to work again.

Stabilizes videos, need to fiddle with cheaper vid cams
You will need to familiarize yourself with the controls and operation to get the most use out of a camera stabilizer like this, and with enough practice you can get some amazing videos out of it.While the controls can integrate for the listed cameras (for recording), for many of the cheaper ‘action’ cameras will not have that level of control with this gimbal (for example, to have the record button work). Having a camera that is controlled thru a phone app certainly helps for recording (if you don’t have a listed camera). I found that using a phone app to control the camera worked very well. Else you can always record long videos and edit down later.Power passthru certainly works when connecting USB to the stabilizer, assuming that you can get a cable to fit in the enclosure.As for the gimbal itself, it can hold various bare cameras, and has few options for different camera mounts. Basically the lighter the camera/enclosure you have, the better it works.The controls of the gimbal are fairly straightforward, with the thumbstick being able to point the camera in various directions. And with the back button press to change modes (identified on the front screen so you can tell which mode you are in). Again this does take a little practice and learning, but the more time you put into learning its modes, the better videos overall you can get out of it.Gimbal operation is very quiet – to the point to where you cannot hear anything in the camera microphone (assuming you are using the camera’s mic).There is a slot for a mic or lighting, and does work well for microphones. But for lighting, if the handle and camera are moving around, it doesn’t make up for poor light conditions.Overall it does stabilize video well after a bit of a learning curve. Takes great videos for moving sweeps around objects such as vehicles or around art displays.I do wish that the thumbstick had better speed control for movement (or that the further you moved the thumbstick in a direction, the faster it would move). Also would have been fantastic if the gimbal could be hooked up to a computer, with some software control over it (or even a phone app for control).
