YUM!!
Great flavor, texture, and look! My mother in law is allergic to Red Dye 40 so can’t eat most licorice. These don’t have dye so their color is not as bright red as other licorice. I do appreciate no high fructose corn syrup for my kids. These are just the right amount of chewy and don’t get stuck in my teeth like the black licorice version.

The flavor was not like i remember, the texture was good but the outer covering was dry.

It’s not a typical licorice flavor, almost more of a Northern European sweet fruit version. If you want sugar but no gluten, this is an enjoyable treat.

Very old ,taste horrible
I love Gimbals Scotties and buy them several times a year . I usually purchase the black . The strawberry is not red like it was before it is whitish /light pink almost see thru . These are old and I threw them out . How do these get sold ?

Good but not licorice.
Itâs sugar candy, so of course we ate it, but Iâve been gluten-free for over a decade. I miss licorice so much, and I was extremely disappointed by the texture. It’s more like a Swedish Fish than licorice.

Great flavor but more like gummy treats
They are flavorful, and taste great. Texture is more like gummy bears though. Definitely not twizzlers, but for gluten free, they are pretty good.

It’s not the seller’s fault. They get the full 5 stars, but only my son likes them. They are different, more of a gummy than licorice texture. Not exactly strawberry flavored either, and they’re tart. Gimbals for whatever reason, changed the recipe from their red licorice to this supposed strawberry flavor. It’s a bummer.
