Somewhat tricky to program. Subroutines within the on cycles can turn the plug on and off to give, I suppose, a âlived-inâ look but setting these can be complicated. Overall, though, a very nice and dependable way of automating lighting.

I am absolutely impressed by these smart plugs! Super easy to install and operate, much better than Atomy, Wemo, or Luminous I used to have. I love that I can schedule my lights to be on/off or turn them in cycles! And they are not as bulky as previous brands I mentioned. Hopefully they will last; and I do like the App that goes with plugs.

I originally got this product from a Walgreens store, however it was one plug and it was $20. That is the only place locally that I could find them but I really like this smart plug. When I came across this set of four for the same price I was simply amazed. You can’t beat a 75% off savings basically. These plugs are responsive and the app works great. Not only do I have these plugs but I have a light bulb that works with the same app and is very interactive. I can’t recommend this smart plug enough.

This purchase was mainly due to easy pairing to the WiFi network simultaneously supporting 2.4 and 5 GB channels. The “Voice Activated” feature advertised on Amazon is somewhat misleading. At first, it appeared that one could activate the receptacle by speaking directly to it by voice. The voice activation is through Alexa, Google Home, etc. meaning that it has a driver that will integrate with the devices supporting these apps.

I had a few problems getting the system set up; it turns out that my phone’s Bluetooth had disallowed the discovery of nearby objects, and it took me a while to discover this. But once I got past that hurdle – and got discovery happening within the two minutes allowed for pairing the plug – and dug out my password for my wifi, and got that entered within the two minute window… well, I eventually got there. The plug now works reliably. I can say, “Alexa, turn on Living Room 1” and Alexa will send the appropriate signal to turn on the appropriate plug, which i have connected to a floor lamp in the corner. I chose to call it Living Room 1, but I could have called it anything I chose.It’s important to remember that this device will allow you to turn on or off power to the plug remotely, and that’s it. If you connect something that requires a constant power connection, such as a home audio system, the effect will be the same as if that device had experienced a power outage. Often, user programmable items such as favourite stations or audio profiles may be erased. So, don’t expect to control sophisticated home electronics with this device; it is best suited to simple devices, such as lamps and kettles.But it works well with Alexa, and it is one of the most budget minded programmable, Alexa optimized plugs out there. Recommended.

Works AWESOME. control any 120V device from your phone!A bit mis-leading though. It’s not Wi-Fi, but rather, bluetooth.You need to be within 50ft or so to activate/de-activate it.

These things work really well you can put them on a timer or control them with Siri or you can use them with your phone great product. I wish they were a little smaller but you canât have everything. Can you?
