Nice Piece of Furniture of a Nice Height
This is a great cat tree! It is a nice height- goes up to 72 inches… quite clean and new looking- a “carpet like” material- but seemingly of adequate thickness. The particle board that constructs it leads one to believe it is flimsy looking, but it stands quite firm and tall. Its compact a lot of tree packed into not too wide of a piece of furniture. My other 72 inch tree takes up more space. ( I wanted to “bookend” my fireplace. lol) It does shake a little, but overall it is quite firm- the last thing on my mind is that it will collapse under my 10 pound cat. There are a lot of pieces- obviously with the different levels and houses there has to be. But EVERY NEEDED screw and part was sent with an excellent diagram, by GO PET CLUB. In fact this is my 2nd tree from them and every part and screw was present in both! Thank u G.P.C.!!!. I’d like to add that the tree is packed into an extremely compact box- should readily fit into any car trunk or back seat! I thought I might have to rent a small u- haul- but it’s really interesting the way the company knows how to pack so well! Must be a “package design engineer” in the picture. It actually took me 5 hours to assemble this cat tree. By the time you lay out the parts and screws… screw everything together correctly etc. I got a little stuck on one shelf- it more or less “attaches to a higher shelf- (we’re talking at the upper level ) and there are two “stabilizing bolts”- but any adult should ultimately figure it out- Quite easy actually but you have to recognize how the bolts attach. Just use the diagram and the holes in the boards as a guide. However 90% of the steps to assemble are quite straightforward. Very reasonably priced- I guess it is so because the buyer must assemble- which does take a bit of time and energy- u might even work up a sweat! However, I really had ” a feeling of accomplishment” upon completion.!!! Now if my cat just hops up and down on it…..!

Perfect for our guy.
My daughter’s cat, Ushi, loves to be up as high as he can be, and also loves looking out the window. So a very tall cat tree parked in front of a window was just what he needed. It was super easy to assemble, no broken or missing parts, seems pretty sturdy. Just a note on the directions. Don’t always go by the drawings in the directions. There are measurements in the drawings, too, and they are going to direct you better than the drawings will. But it really amounts to common sense and I didn’t have any trouble assembling it myself in about 20 minutes. Ushi has been jumping on and off and playing on it, and it wobbles just very mildly, but not nearly enough to make me worry that it’ll tip over. I think if people have wobbly ones, maybe they need to check to be sure everything is screwed in firmly. That could be part of the reason in some cases. Some reviewers mentioned that they chose to remove the ladders since adult cats generally jump over them, but I think they help stabilize it a little, so I’ll probably leave them on, especially the bottom ladder since it sort of acts as an additional “leg”. As other people experienced, our cat was investigating, scratching and climbing on it before I even had it assembled. I did spray a little bit of cat nip spray over it just so he would know it’s his, but it probably wasn’t necessary. Still, it made him giddy and happy for his first impression of it.Unlike some of the negative reviewers, I don’t see this falling apart any time soon. Sure, the fabric might get shredded by his claws (I might attach pieces of Berber carpet over it when that happens), but I think that’s the point of having it, so the cat shreds his OWN furniture and not yours!I left the toy mouse attached because I can’t see that short of an elastic string being long enough to cause a strangulation hazard. Maybe it’s longer on some of them, but it doesn’t seem dangerous to me. If he pulls it off, I’ll cut off the string, but he hasn’t detached it yet.I can’t speak for longevity, but I’ll update if it falls apart too soon. It seems pretty sturdy to me, no cracks or soft spots in the pieces. I think this will satisfy his need to be high up, look out the window, and occasionally go somewhere where the dogs won’t bug him. He’s a friendly cat, but he just hissed at one of the dogs for going too close to it, so I think he has staked his claim to it and doesn’t want the dogs touching HIS property!

I was hesitant to buy this seeing as it was 6ft for little over £60… I thought it would be bad build quality and too small for a cat larger than a kitten.Well!, I couldn’t of been more wrong, sturdy, big and great quality!, my cats absolutely love it!, both my cats are very big one being a Maine Coon cross weighting 16lbs and it has no issue with him and he’s brother play fighting and bouncing off of it, needless to say if being sturdy is an issue for you do not worry.Everything including the perches are more than suitable for my largest cat but the smaller house he has some difficulties getting comfortable in, he still manages it though haha

My fiance and I are very impressed with this cat tree!We ordered it when it was temporarily out of stock, and were estimated that it would arrive between Feb.27 – March 17. On a whim, I checked the status of it on Feb.12 to find that it was one it’s way to our house! The thing is bigger than myself and I was able to put it together while my fiance was at work. The instructions were easy to follow, especially if you have a tape measure. The pieces are NOT labeled, there is a chart with the dimensions of the pieces and where they go. I highly suggest having a measuring tool! As well, some of the pieces were a little larger than said. I assume this is because it is the measurements of the wood, before the faux fur is adhered, but it didn’t slow me down!Speaking of the faux fur, I must admit, I was a tad skeptical of the material at first. I was worried that it would slide around and cause issues when my cats decided to launch themselves off the cat tree. Luckily, it is very secure and doesn’t shift around. As a whole, this cat tree is very sturdy when properly assembled. Yes, if a cat is on the very top perch, it will wiggle a little, but not enough for me to be concerned of the boys tipping it over, or what have you, and injuring themselves. There was one small downside, the smell. To me, it wasn’t an obnoxious smell, but the cats did not like it at first. It smelt like glue and sawed wood. It smelt new. Just sprinkled on some Arm & Hammer carpet cleaner, vacuumed, and the cats went right to playing!All-in-all, this is a great cat tree, especially since we got it when it was 42% off! Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a higher cat tree for the kitties to climb, but doesn’t take up a lot of floor space!
