Amazing for collecting and storing colostrum ð
First time using colostrum collectors, and they worked great! Very easy to use, the cap comes off in two parts (see photos) and the material is comfortable and flexible to hold. The material is also thick enough to create the suction needed to collect the colostrum. Very easy to store in the freezer, and very durable. I started collecting colostrum about a week or two before my son was born, and Iâm so glad I did. My son spent a few nights in the NICU and I gave the nurses my colostrum for when I couldnât be there (I also have a toddler). You get 6 containers, labels, a soft cloth, and a box to put everything in.Note: Now that weâre long past the colostrum days, Iâve repurposed the box to store our sterilized pacifiers.

Make collecting colostrum easy!
There are a couple different ways you can collect colostrum prior to giving birth. I found that these collectors were easy to use and you donât lose any in the collection process. Being that colostrum is liquid gold this is very important! They are easy to store (fridge or freezer) and, once baby arrives, you and can feed them straight from the dropper. Appreciate that theyâre silicone.

These were purchased for my daughter to be able to collect the very important colostrum starting late pregnancy. Anyone who nurses knows the value in this, it had great suction, functionality was super easy.

Very Effective
I bought these to help my pregnant wife collect colostrum. We also used the syringe style ones but realized that these were more effective. They are a lot more spacious, have a lid to prevent the colostrum from spilling out, and are very easy to use. They are made out of a strong and sturdy rubber. They are also very easy to clean. Definitely worth the investment.

Very easy to use, has made colostrum collection a breeze
First time mama here, this haakaa colostrum collection kit was recommended to me by my lovely IBCLC. It’s very easy to use to collect hand expressed colostrum. I’m usually able to collect around 1 mL every session with it. I haven’t tried any other methods like with syringes, so I cannot compare them, but using the haakaa has been so easy for me that I don’t think I’ll need to try other methods. Just be aware that when you start approaching the 3 mL mark, be very gentle with the amount of suction you use. If you press too hard, some of your previously collected colostrum may come out. You don’t want all your hard work collecting your liquid gold to go out the window!

Not good for first time moms or low production
These are a good product but being my first pregnancy I am not producing enough colostrum to use these. I ended up ordering 1ml sterile syringes with caps and that works much better.

These were amazing in the hospital!
They helped us so much in feeding our newborn baby! Baby had a really hard time with finding the nipple to latch so we were having to spoon feed her- these were AMAZING to hand express into and then feed baby from! Great quality. Worth the expense. Size was just right for us kinda tricky to clean but not too bad

Easy to transfer and clean!
As a first time mom, I wanted to prepare extra colostrum for my baby, in between nursing. I was able to extract colostrum and easily transfer it into this! Itâs also very easy to clean and sanitize. It actually comes sanitized, so you can use it right away too. It was so much easier to use this than using a small liquid measuring cup and syringe, that the hospital provides. I loved it!

I used these to collect Colostrum starting at 38 weeks. These are so easy to use, and I appreciated that they could be sterilized and used again in the future. My baby had a brief NICU stay and the nurses loved these for feeding vs a traditional syringe.

This is an Amazing product! I highly recommend to buy it for any expecting mother to collect every drop of your colostrum. I’m almost done with my first 6 bottles and I’ve ordered another set! Every little for your baby helps ðAdvantages:- Flexible material. It allows you to squeeze the neck of the bottle and the bottle itself to make each drop of collected colostrum fall to the bottom of the bottle. If you don’t harvest much this feature is a life saver!- Large elipse shaped bottle neck. I would recommend using the wide neck rather than the thin tip to collect colostrum as the drops don’t have a regular size and it’s easier to collect the drops with the 2 corners of the wide bottle neck.Disadvantage:- the stickers don’t stick to the bottle at all and are quite large. I’ve put my own label instead, which fits on the bottle and then I had to secure it with sticky tape otherwise it doesn’t stay on the silicone bottle.
