My babies love halo sleep sacks!
When I gave birth to my twins, the hospital had Halo sleep sacks that we got to use and take home with us. We loved them so much and my boys only liked being swaddled with these so we ordered more. Iâm happy with the quality (itâs super soft and warm). These are the micro fleece ones which are great for colder months and kept my twins nice a snug during their naps. Overall, very happy with our purchase and will be getting the cotton ones next!

On September 17th, 2011, we had a sudden, unexpected surprise. Born 13 weeks early, we suddenly had a beautiful baby boy who was fighting for his life. We spent almost three months in the NICU caring for him, watching the NICU staff work miracles on a daily basis. On many occasions, they revived our little one from the brink of death. He is now two years old and doing wonderfully!While in the NICU, we saw all the babies wrapped in HALO blankets. We were instructed to purchase one, and this is exactly what we did. We purchased the one you’re looking at now on Amazon. Taking our little boy home for the first time was scary, but we knew exactly how to care for him. We had the best training for almost three months. Even still, his incredibly tiny size was intimidating, so we were very thankful to have this HALO SleepSack to help keep him warm and comfortable during the day and night.The HALO SleepSack emulates the snugness of the womb by snuggly swaddling baby all around. Baby is tightly wrapped in a soft and warm environment, much like s/he was before birth.We have only positive things to say about this item. Better than Baby Burrito swaddling
My husband and I both love the Halo Sleep Sacks. The fleece keeps our little one warm even through the snowy winter. The velcro allows us to easily wrap her back up even when we are sleep deprived in the middle of the nightâ it is much easier than trying to make a baby burrito in a blanket when youâre so tired. When wrapping her in receiving blankets, little one kept wiggling to the side of her bassinet. On the sleep sack, she stays safely in the middle and happy as clam. Canât wait to order the non fleece ones when it warms up. We used this product in preemie sizes and now newborn. Love love love it.

I received some hand-me down swaddles of all kinds, but I really like the halo ones (double zip + option to have the arms out is great). My second child was born at the end of March in the northeast so we still had some chilly days. I havenât been able to put her in it too many times because the fleece is sometimes TOO warm, but on the really chilly nights it was perfect! I wouldnât gift a fleece option unless it was specifically requested/ on the registry since you might not know how warm babyâs bedroom is at night.

This product has been amazing in helping our baby boy sleep through the night.From birth he has always wanted the reassurance of feeling tightly held & was always swaddled in the ‘Summer infant swaddle wrap’ at night which he loved & slept through the night most nights from 7 weeks. So this sleep sack was ideal for when he outgrew the wrap as it had plenty of leg room for busy little legs & was really easy to wrap up his arms. On his first night of wearing it, he slept from 11pm – 6am Bliss!!As he’s now approaching 5 months we’ve slowly begun to wean him off swaddling both arms & have been able to do so one arm at a time with this sleep sack. After a couple of unsettled arm thrashes when initially put in his crib, he soon settled down as I think he liked the reassurance of the wrap around his tummy still. He now sleeps soundly with both arms out but if he gets startled in the night / unsettled with his arms, I can quickly wrap him up again if necessary.At nearly 5 months he is still in the 0-3 month size as he was only 5lb 3oz born so we’re definitely getting our money’s worth out of it. I’m just about to order the next size up though as he’s beginning to get a bit long for it. He has never managed to get his arms out / get it over his head like others have mentioned & is lovely & cosy with just this on over his babygro.As a first time mum, I would definitely recommend this product to other parents as we’ve found it a lifesaver for getting a full night’s sleep!! 🙂
