The Halo Ra4 LED is a complete adjustable gimbal LED module for 4 In. Aperture recessed downlights; suitable for new construction, remodel and retrofit installation. The Ra4 adjustable gimbal offers 35° tilt and up to 360° rotation. The Ra4 is designed for use with 4 In. Housings including Halo H995 and H99 series, and other compatible 4 In. Housings. The Halo LED retrofit eyeball trim is ideal for accent and wall wash lighting. This unit features a diffusing, impact resistant polycarbonate lens.

Very nice product!
Dimmer switch (proper for led) has never worked better. I had no problem installing and pointing the light right where I want it. These are very nice. I have 3 of them. Very likely to upgrade 3 older 4″ lights to the comparable model. Packages arrived a day early.

Looks way better!
I looked for quite a while on Amazon and went with these. They cost a little more than some others but I liked the look of the adjustable part better. They look great and were crazy easy to install. I put 10 in in like an hour. They are super snug to the ceiling too; Iâve installed some retro fit ledâs and they donât quite snug up but these do.

Great retrofit for the price
I have a very sophisticated Lutron system installed at home that runs Lucifer LED lights in most rooms. Itâs the Mercedes Benz of lighting systems. I installed these HALO lights in a room that doesnât have the super high-end LED fixtures tonight. They look good, work well, and were very to install. They dim easily on the Lutron Homeworks system too. We will see how they perform over time, but the out-of-the-box experience is really good.

Go first class
Iâve tried many retrofit downlights in the search for LED can down lights that were comfortably warm with good color. Couldnât find anything we were happy with, so I shifted to bulb searches. Finally found bulbs from Bulbrite, but nothing that fit gimbal or eyeball trims for wall wash. Then I decided to try the retrofit route with Halo gimbal and wow. CRI 92 and 2700K offers great light and strong build quality. Smooth operation and pretty, too.

Great âeyeballâ trim upgrade!
Replaced an aging, yellowing, 20-year old 6â Halo Eyeball Cans with this Halo LED âeyeballâ fixture! Works great, nicely dimmable too!

Didn’t fit in shallow LED can hole. Short return policy
I hoped to replace a light on a high slanted ceiling above the fireplace, but there is a joist at the center and the back part of this light was too deep compared to the one that fits there now. Return policy was too short, by the time we got to that step in our fireplace remodel, the return window was closed and I’m stuck with two lights I can’t use, unless I cut 2 new holes on either side if the joist and add wiring, which is more $$ than I wanted to invest.

This light was a perfect replacement for our traditional pot light. We needed something that focused more light towards a corner of our dining room while still illuminating the table and a quick adjustment of the light it was perfect. The cover around the light moves easily and can be adjusted to change the light in every direction. Easy to install if you know what you’re doing.
