Acceptable, but not great
This electric blanket is the second one I’ve tried from Amazon (the first was the wrong size, and not available in the size I needed). This one had decent ratings and from the description, it looked like just what I wanted – a good long electric cord, enough settings for flexible use, and the correct size. However, when I unpacked it, I was very disappointed at the thickness of the blanket. The white Sherpa is OK, but the outer colored fleece layer is extremely thin and the cables are very noticeable through it. I’m worried about the durability.In addition, the heating cables stop about 8″ from each side, which means the heated area is quite a bit smaller than the total blanket measurements. The price was good, but at this point I’m still not sure if I will keep it or not. There’s a 30 day return window, so I’m planning to use it for a few nights and see how it does. I’ll come back to edit this once I decide.
