Already saved my drone!
During one of the first test flights, I slammed the drone into a piece of furniture and it fell to the ground. Luckily these bumpers were installed saving the camera. One of the bumpers bent a little from the fall, but it completely saved/protected the camera. If you have the Avata 1 drone, I recommend getting these bumpers. Theyâre metal, super sturdy and easy to install.

Crash tested
So in my learning period with the Avata I hit a few obstacles… bad. I looked into getting some protection and decided to give these a try. I’m definitely glad I did, I wound up taking a tumble at a decent speed, drone went end over end for a good distance. I can definitely say these saved my drone. Crash was bad enough that it bent the right side bumper a bit, but it was easily repaired.

These are well- machined and are easy to install. The fitment is ever so slightly off, as they don’t fit perfectly in the holes in the frame of the AVATA, but happy with the price to quality ratio here.

It fit snug on their and it looks sharper than Gillette. Good value for the money and quality light weight material. Itâs easy to install you do got to unscrew some of the bolts on the side to install it and it comes with longer bolts to replace the ones you take out

It worked I guess but I think that Iâm going to try another design. I feel it makes the front wider and snags on branches or leaves easier. I like this one piece design way better than the two piece version. My friend bought the two piece version and has alignment issues now.

Aluminum Alloy Bar
It is a solid mount to the frame and uses the one side screw in the front. After having one DJI Avata that had a lot of crashes under it belt I decided to take care of the front camera more. I like to fly as close as I can to the ground and objects as possible. So I little more protection for the camera can help.
