My New Go-To Mounts
Let me start off by saying that after trying many other off-brand accessories over the years, I became strictly a GoPro-branded accessory user due to quality and longevity. With that being said though, someone told me to give these a try and now I will absolutely be buying these any time I need them.Packaging was kinda flimsy and basic, but organized and clean. Mount plastic doesn’t feel like the other cheap, hollow, off-brand products, it actually feels pretty solid and of good quality. Threading on screws is smooth, no burs or roughness, and the screws fit perfectly. What I like the most about these mounts though is the rubber safety plug. The plug feels beefy and thick, which I wasn’t expecting, and it doesn’t feel like you’re just gunna rip it off on accident one day. Plug fits very tight in mount and takes effort to pop it up so I have had no concerns that it would come undone on me during use and abuse. Most people know what to expect from the 3M adhesive. It’s good for some things and less ideal for others, but you can always remove it and use something else like Sugru (what I use for my helmets) if you need a more permanent or secure solution. Everything fits together well and snug, exactly how they do with the name brand products, but for a better price.To summarize, if you’re in the market for affordable GoPro mounts but want quality accessories you can expect to last, I absolutely would recommend these! Fast Shipping was a plus too.

Compatible with my Ski helmet
This worked perfectly to mount a GoPro to my Ski helmet. I placed the mount on the helmet about 2 weeks before skiing in late winter 2024, making sure to clean the helmet thoroughly prior to beginning the mounting process to make sure it had the best chance and plenty of time to bond properly. The camera mount held tight with no issues the entire ski trip (and was even still attached after going through multiple airports as checked baggage). It mount took a few falls at speed, held tight, and I did not loose the GoPro even after a yard sale. I am very happy with the solid bond of this mount.

Great kit
Great alternative to GoPro because GoPro doesn’t sell just the mounting clips, you have to buy a whole random kit. I just needed rounded helmet bases and clips so this was great. They have the retention bumpers too which is a really nice upgrade these days compared to old clips.

If you are an avid GoPro user like me, you can never have enough mounts to attach to various surfaces, helmets, sports gear and more. This expansion kit gives you everything you need: 3x curved adhesive mounts, critical for proper adhesion on curved surfaces like helmets, 3x flat adhesive mounts, 2x low profile buckles, 2x raised profile “J” buckles, and 2x thumb screws. Three super aspects to this kit:1. The adhesive material is genuine 3M VHB super high strength adhesive. This is not a cheap copy, and you don’t have to worry about your gear falling off2. Each of the low profile and J buckles have rubber inserts which makes it impossible for them to come off accidentally. You have to lift the safety rubber first and then unclip. A second level of security3. For all you bikers out there this makes a superb substitute for the Ghost Pivot mount (now discontinued). I have mine stuck upside down on the underside of my Trident 660 and due to the genuine 3M red sticky pads it’s just as secure as original Ghost pads. The mechanism of the pad base plate and sliding locking mount plate work well and are smooth. The rubber “bung” that pushes down into place really feels secure and prevent accidental disengagement of the two clips that secure them together. Yes ok it doesn’t have quite the same low profile of the Ghost pivot mount but as that was discontinued I had to try something. After a couple of weeks and 200 miles there is absolutely no sign of movement, looseness or anything untoward. I can only imagine this would be equally effective if stuck on anything else as there isn’t much that would vibrate and bounce as much as a motorbike does.
