4K ULED: Hisense’s proprietary ULED technologies boost color, contrast, brightness, and motion. This suite of patented hardware and software technologies delivers an engaging and completely unique picture that can only be delivered by Hisense
MINI-LED & FULL ARRAY LOCAL DIMMING: Mini-LED is the latest breakthrough in backlighting technology. By utilizing LED’s that are significantly smaller than traditional LED’s we are able to use many more LED’s to create a bright image that distributes the light more evenly for a uniform image across the screen
QLED QUANTUM DOT WIDE COLOR GAMUT: Quantum Dot QLED produces purer, richer, more brilliant and accurate color than a regular LED TV. Creating over a billion color combinations that bring vibrant images to life in a way non QLED TVs can’t
480 SMOOTH MOTION & 144HZ NATIVE REFRESH RATE: Smooth Motion removes the digital ‘noise’ that can affect moving objects. The TV’s native 144Hz refresh rate is the foundation for its 480 motion rate. These technologies work in concert to make fast-action scenes to ensure moving objects have minimal blurring
Dolby Vision IQ & Dolby Atmos: Dolby Vision HDR picture and Dolby Atmos sound are cinema technology for your home. They provide amazing realism you can see and hear in every scene
2.1.2 MULTI-CHANNEL AUDIO: With 50W of total power driving 5 speakers including rear ‘overhead’ speakers and a built-in subwoofer the U8 sounds as good as it looks
144HZ GAME MODE PRO: All the most advanced gaming tech, all in this TV. HDMI 2.1 inputs recognize gaming sequences to automatically adjust settings for smooth, uninterrupted play. The automatic low-latency mode (ALLM), 144Hz variable refresh rate (VRR) and FreesSync Premium Pro minimize input lag, screen jitter, and frame tearing
HANDS FREE VOICE CONTROL: Put down the remote. Change the channel, find the latest movie, stream your favorite video and more with your voice. The quicker, easier way to find whatever you want to watch

nice tv
This thing is huge, and bright, and looks great. I’ve only had it a few weeks but no problems so far. The thing was seriously packaged well, and the packaging even allowed me to put the feet on it before taking the styrofoam supports off the bottom, so I never had issues with it tipping over, or having to lean it up on something. It also has handles on the back top help pick it up. I thought it was going to be an issue but 2 of us put it up on a counter no problem. 2 issues if you’re going to buy the 100inch, the feet are too far apart and too deep for most entertainment centers, and the weight exceeds what the average wall mount is rated for, so plan accordingly. It also take up your entire living room, if you order the TV then have to go searching for something to put it on.

Worth EVERY Penny!!!
Got this 100″ Hisense U8 (mini LED) on Black Friday sale for $2699 but would easily pay more! Love how big it is and the picture clarity is stunning! It especially looks good because our tall ceilings in this living room made our 75″ TV that this replaced look small lol. This TV is the perfect fit! I don’t know what the lower end U76 version of this Hisense TV looks like but I can tell ya that you won’t go wrong with this one! NOTE: It was super easy to install the legs (watch a youtube vid on that) and then for me and one of my neighbors to (somewhat nervously, but it never wobbled on us) lift it up onto the console. No need to wall mount this thing it looks great sitting on the console we already had!

Stunning display with a few minor complaints
This TV (Hisense 55U8K) is an absolute treat to the eyes when watching movies, shows, or playing games. Photos don’t do it justice you have to see it in person to fully experience it. I have some cons that I am listing as well as pros. The cons don’t stop me from enjoying this TV any less they are just some things to keep in mind if you decide to get this TV. I am not mentioning specs much in the review as they are mentioned above in the listing and spec sheet. For a full review of every little spec and detail see rtings.com (not misspelled) review. Overall, this TV is great for those interested in really any kind of content but just keep some of the cons in mind.Pros:*Automatic picture settings works amazing at recognizing the content type and adjusting to it, (must be enabled in settings).*4K 120hz is native and even games that don’ts support it benefit from reduced latency (like in the Forza Horizon 5 photos).*Everything looks so life like and clear, haven’t run into anything looking off or terrible. Even old games are upscaled and look fine.*The speakers are amazing, the subwoofer makes action in movies truly immersive.*Price is way lower than other comparable displays.*Micro LED so no burn in and has good contrast especially blacks.*Dolby Vision and HDR are both supported unlike Samsung displays.*The game bar and FPS viewing are nice features for gamers.Cons:*AV (component) is supported but the adapter needed is not included, you have to go their support site to have them send you it.*When changing picture mode out of Auto you have to go back into the TV settings to turn it back on.*Only 2 HDMI ports are 144hz with one being the E-ARC and the other two just regular 4K 60hz.*Google TV setup makes you accept their privacy terms and such which is annoying. Auto content recognition requires accepting Hisense privacy terms.*Onboard storage is known to a fault with Hisense so using a Fire stick or Roku will extend the life of your TV.*Don’t sell my information is off by default*You have to change the HDMI configuration on each port to enhanced for 4k content to work correctly

Great pictures, awesome audio but man that google…
I’d strangle google TV if I could; it’s always taking control of my life as in: You WILL download this NOW!I don’t CARE if you’re watching something else GOOGLE TV IS IN CONTROL!!!!!And so they are… many more negatives but if I start to list them ALL I’ll get another headache. Suffice it to say that audio & video are great: google TV: No.Also, I paid AMAZON extra to have them bring it up to my apt., unbox it and set it up (I had a broken wrist at the time), Instead they couldn’t be bothered fulfilling those terms, they did none of that. The workers didn’t come during the appointed window of time and simply left it, this expensive TV, when they finally did come, in the lobby of my building, unattended. Thanks for sending these nothing guys, AMAZON. The memory of that day still smarts.
