    Great value for 4K TV.
For the price, it’s hard to complain about what you get with this 43″ TV. It has a good picture, a small frame bezel and is very lightweight. It’s fast. After setup, it powers on and is usable in about 2 seconds. Also, the Roku unit in the 4K TV models has their best, snappiest hardware so the user interface on this TV is incredibly fast too. I occasionally use my TVs as a secondary PC monitor so I also bought this model over others due to the reviews showing it to be a good PC monitor with low input lag. (I have not tested yet)RE: POOR REVIEWS: I’ve seen people complaining about Roku charging them $. As a 12 year user of Roku devices, I have no clue what these people are talking about. It’s free. As for “ads” being shown, just to clarify, it’s just ads for more channels/apps to ad, they are occasional tiny little boxes off to the side… it’s not like buying a Fire tablet where it has a random ad every time you turn it on. It’s just offers to subscribe to Hulu and whatnot. This TV has no bluetooth. People seem to be surprised, so don’t be, it isn’t there. This is a low price, bare bones 4K tv with a nice interface. Don’t expect the moon from it and you should be pleased. Remember, 4K for $250. (!)The remote is just a generic Roku remote. Which means BASIC. Volume is on the side. If you want buttons for picture/sound (etc), you will hate this basic remote. It doesn’t feel cheap, but it lacks the 50 buttons you may be used to. I actually like only having a few buttons as I was already running my previous TV from my Roku Stick remote.RE: brand: Hisense is unknown to me until now, but a little research reveals that they bought up Toshiba’s TV division and used to be who made what were known as “Sharp” TVs until last year (and a lot more if you look), so not some unknown player at all.NOTE: for variable volume out: This TV only delivers a fixed volume from the audio output (optical), so you have to use the 3.5mm “headphone” jack if you wish to control external speaker volume with the TV remote. I just ran a 3.5mm-to-RCA cord to my bookshelf 2.1 setup.

Great value delivered very quickly good quality
Great value delivered very quickly good quality! So before taxes this 43 inch TV was $228.99 it comes with a Roku in her face and the 4G or 5G technology that is brand new to smart TVs we really don’t have any complaints I think it was an excellent bye great value for money the picture quality on it does have adjusting where you can make it brighter you can tweak how many pixels there are I am and that is the one downfall of the TV! It’s not that the TV itself is difficult to set up but it’s very time-consuming and it’s time consuming to the point that it’s obnoxious just to get it up and running get it online and hooked up to our cable I would say it took about an hour and a half and most of that was going through setting up a Roku account to activate this having to put down a credit card then creating passcodes user accounts and downloading any type of apps or services that you would like to use on the TV it’s been a process and it’s not that it takes long for you to do it although you do have to confirm emails and it has a two step verification process is that the TV itself downloaded information and updated the software to configure with the cable box on its own and that took about 30 minutes I recommend if you get this TV that you truly Use it as a smart TV because with the Roku platform this is definitely made more for streaming versus cable

Solid value, esp. for a spare room TV even for bedroom
I picked this 43″ model for just about $250 up right before moving to a new house, where I knew I would want my visiting guests to be able to watch TV or maybe move it in front of my rowing machine to stave off the boredom. Before long, I found myself hooking it up to my bedroom, to a spare Yamaha receiver and speakers and really enjoying the tiny remote that doesn’t take over the night table and some system setting features found on higher priced models that cost over $500. Compared to other models and brands in this price range, the picture is just fine and the set is light enough to move to another room, if need be.I did find that the speakers sound thin but they’re serviceable for most content. With a set this size, it was hard to tell if they are stereo or not, so I recommend HDMI ARC or wireless over to a nice set of surround speakers with Bluetooth soundbar. For the HDMI ARC option that I took with a pair of speaker cabinets and receiver, took a little time to configure correctly for CEC/HDMI ARC but it works just fine with no lag. Picture quality and brightness are pretty ok, just fine but you will want to increase contrast and tweak the picture settings to match the content. I also liked the screencast option from my Android device (yes, it can do Apple Airplay) and there is a little lag, but nice to see it actually works. All told, a great value at under $300, perfect for that spare guest room or exercise room in your home.As a Roku set, I really am just interested in Youtube, Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBO and those apps are all there.
