Perfect starter drone for a beginner
Never has a drone and received this drone as a gift. It works exactly as advertised and is simple to use once you get familiar with it. I strongly suggest you run through the tutorials before you begin. Bottom line, itâs fun to use and easy. Lots of nice advanced features too. Only downside is the short (19 min) battery life. An extra battery would be a huge benefit.

Fun little drone
This drone is fun to fly. I have the HS430 but wanted an upgrade to a drone with gps to get used to it. Only reason not a 5 star review is the app keeps crashing but customer support responds immediately. Overall, Iâd recommend this for the price and the fun

Good Drone , battery life sucks
The drone flies great, works great.. the battery is a joke though.. i takes about 5 minutes to connect first of all, and then you barely get 4/5 max minutes of flying time. I am not sure if I got a lemon battery? but I would expect the drone to have atleaset 10/15 minutes of flying time as advertised

Cool little GPS drone
I already own the original HS440, So when I saw that Holy Stone added GPS to this drone I had to get it and I have to say it’s a nice improvement, the drone looks exactly like the original 440, but now that it has GPS it is a lot easier to fly it, especially in a little bit of wind, the drone handles great for not having brushless motors, although I am hoping that they will add brushless motors to it soon, all the GPS failsafe features work really well and I am pretty impressed at how accurate the return to home feature works, the drone pretty much flew back and landed directly in the center of my landing pad, I also like that this drone now has intelligent features like, follow-me, waypoints and point of interest, and they all work pretty good, the camera on this drone is pretty decent, it can be adjusted up and down from the controller and it does record video in 4K but only if your using an SD card, the pictures and videos have good clarity, but the camera is not on a gimbal so the videos can be a little shaky if there is a little bit wind, the drone also only comes with one battery, the battery life is pretty decent though, depending on the wind and the speed you’re flying in, I was able to get close to 15 minutes or so on a fully charged battery, another feature I really like is that the drone weights under 249g so it does not need to be registered and it doesn’t need remote ID, overall I am really happy with this drone.

Connection doesnt happen
It would be nice if it connected but it doesnt… Useless as a result. The two times it did connect the motors were super loud and the battery didnt last for much more than 10 min, and since it didnt want to connect saying it had weak signal (but my phone said connection was excellent) it wont do any of the modes like follow or waypoints etc. . Extra batteries are super expensive since they dont give you an extra like they used to, so if you get it in the air you got 10 min if you didnt have to deal with any connecting issues. Ya the price was decent but it wasnt even worth it. Ive had $20 drones do what this one does. I spent more time trying to make it work than it worked! Maybe the more expensive ones are better but for my first HolyStone I couldnt be more disappointed.

Great starter drone
Easy set up. Easy to learn with. In no time it was up and flying. Canât wait to get it in the field and look at crops. Will be an asset to farming.

Drone is nice, battery terrible
The drone is easy to start and well-built. However, the battery life is disappointing, lasting only 10-12 minutes per charge. This is particularly frustrating for my son, who is still learning to fly it. He spends the first 5 minutes cautiously to avoid crashing, leaving only about 6 minutes of actual flying time. After that, we face a lengthy 90-minute recharge period. Considering the price, the battery performance is unsatisfactory.
