Very good beginner drone
This is an excellent drone for the money. I liked it so much that instead of buying just additional batteries, I bought another drone. Easy to use just follow the directions in the quick start guide.

AMAZING
Very good starter drone but it does not come with a Tf card to save and watch videos that you take. And it only comes with one battery which is a downside to it.but overall great drone and amazing durability. It has hit our house and gotten stuck in trees and has came out almost unscaved besides from minor scratches on propellers.

I liked the take off and landing buttons. After reading and following the setup, the drone took right off. Easy to guide and I like the home GPS feature. Certainly a great choice to get started.

Great starter
This holy stone 440G is a really good drone to get started in this hobby. It flies very stable and has two flight modes. The slower one is nice and comfortable, not too fast. The faster mode is nice and quick.The calibration is not a hassle and you can get it in the air fairly quickly, and it handles great indoors.The video is surprisingly stable for an entry level drone, and the pictures are good enough that you’ll want to share them with friends and family.The battery has an average flight time. Of course this depends on how you use the drone…. Fast mode, recording, and so on.I think this drone is great for this price. Buy it

I’ll start by saying I am completely inexperienced as a drone flyer. This seems to be a pretty solid starter drone, but I can’t help but feel like it could be better. Honestly it could be a “me” issue, but I was having issues keeping the drone stable indoors, it kept drifting one direction and that made it hard to try and learn to fly, this was even after going through the calibration settings multiple times.The controller seems ok, but it wasn’t super ergonomic. And the legend on the screen wasn’t easy to understand what each thing meant. There is also a start-up procedure which might be normal for all drones, but I kept having to go back to the manual to remember what I was supposed to do to calibrate the drone.The drone itself seems well built and I really liked the carrying case and also the extra parts it came with. The only miss is the battery not utilizing USB-C for charging. I’m guessing this was a cost cutting measure, but regardless, using USB-C to charge would make life so much better. It is a bummer having to remember or make sure not to lose/break the proprietary charging cable.All that said, for the price and the abilities of this drone, it may be a solid buy to get started. I think I just need to continue practicing, but the price makes it compelling with everything included and the feature set.

Beginner friendly drone, well built carry case.
Even before looking up the company website, flying this drone made it obvious that Holy Stone has a lot of experience designing drones. They used that experience to make controlling the 440G intuitive and forgiving. Many of the features that make that possible rely on the included GPS.When the drone is turned on, it immediately begins searching for satellites. Once it has locked onto the signal from at least 7 satellites, the lights on the back propeller supports change from yellow to green to indicate GPS has a strong signal. The drone’s current position is recorded as home. After calibration, accomplished by rotating the drone horizontally and vertically, it is ready to fly. Why is GPS needed? Because it allows the drone to track its location. It uses this information to return home if the battery is too low, it looses communication with the controller or any time the operator pushes the return home button.Landing a drone can be tricky for beginners, so there is an included takeoff/landing button that automates that process. Of course controlling the drone during flight also takes practice. By default the drone goes into hover mode whenever it ceases to receive input from the control paddles. Any time the operator starts to loose control, they can let go of the controls and the drone will stop and hover. The red lights in front and green lights in back make it easy to visually verify the drones orientation.For those that are not beginners, it is possible to go into the setting menu and switch off beginner mode. The control screen on the paddle provides all critical information at a glance. Signal strength to the drone, battery level, the number of satellite signals received, height and distance from starting point. Once linked with your phone’s Wi-Fi, the phone screen shows a live feed from the drone’s camera. This can be used to help fly the drone, along with taking photos and video. The phone screen includes some additional controls such as the option to have the drone follow the operator, circle them or follow a path drawn on the phone’s screen. When using these functions, it becomes obvious that the drone’s accuracy is not great. I had hoped the drone could follow and accurately record video, but it does not aim the camera when following.Overall, the drone is fun to fly and is very forgiving. My first experience flying an R/C plane was stressful and repeatedly ended in the plane crashing (I built it from sign-board so repairs were cheap unless the motor or actuators were damaged). Flying this drone remains fun, but without the stress. It is a great way to start flying and includes a lot of functionality for the cost.

Für den Preis ist die Drone echt gut.Sie ist ideal für Einsteiger, damit kann man gut fliegen lernen und nebenbei auch Fotos und Videos machen. Die Qualität ist für Handy und Tablet ausreichend.Die Flugeigenschaften sind nicht so besonders, wenn Wind weht. Ansonsten ist es für diesen Preis OK.Ersatzakku bekommt man direkt auf der Internetseite von HOLY STONE.
