I love it.
I started off with the smaller HS360 as a beginner. But once I got a taste I wanted more. I returned it for the HS900. It had the older controller which had to be updated. Never got to fly. Returned it for and upgraded once more to this one. 20k distance, not necessarily on an X axis but the combination of X and Y axis to give you that 20k ft. Max height around 400 ft. 2 dual batteries is love. No long breaks between flights. It’s bigger than both other models. Pictures are great. Caught it on a sale for $100 off. Making the value even greater. Walk through makes it easy to use.

Best I have ever Owned
I had and returned a HS720R due to loss of control and the infamous “Toilet Bowl” crashes. I was almost going to give up with HS until I saw some reviews of the HS 600D. I took advantage of a coupon and bought one. What a difference! Huge battery. Large and heavier drone but registering with the FAA was simple and cheap ($5). This drone is amazing! The videos are crystal clear, and the stills are good enough to sell. Control is spot on. I still haven’t tried all the bells and whistles yet, just flying around the golf course next to my house. You will not regret this purchase.

This is my third drone from this company and I feel like this is the best one I have tested thus far the gimbal and smoothness of video is superior to the othersMaybe not a first drone somewhat advanced I would say but if you’re fairly savvy you can figure out the electronics fairly easily and can be flown easily.G P S work closely on this drone no issues thereAll of the electronic features follow me in such work very well very easily selected easy to manipulate easy to use and all worked well none were gimmicky the color grading was greatThe big thing that makes this one better than most to me is the actual phone connection it connects by wire versus a simple bluetooth connection which most doVideo quality is very good even while the drone is moving full speed and the gimbal is thumbs up

Drone fall from 30 ft while descending after Go Home automatically activated
I got 20% battery remaining and the drone was 60ft from me at 9ft height. There were 2 lines from 5 remaining for the drone battery, then suddenly the Go Home got activated (automatically) and the drone started going up, then flew to the home position and while was starting to go down, suddenly stopped flying and fall to the ground from at least 30ft. There was a brief moment (less than a second) when the drone tried to turn back on, but it went off again and completely fall. This happened the second time I flew the drone (I got it yesterday). It looks like the drone went off while descending. After hitting the floor, I checked the controller and was still showing 1 line for the drone’s battery so it was not lack of battery but something else. The drone has impressive specs but something went very wrong here.

This is a fantastic drone package for the price. For about the same price you can get a DJI Mini 4k drone that doesn’t have all the extras and isn’t as good as the HS600D (not to be confused with the HS600) you can get this HS600D package.The HS600D has a 1/2.3 Sony CMOS sensor just like the DJI, it is 48mp and takes great pictures and video, even in low light. This model has a 3 axis gimbal with EIS (electronic image stabilization) so it is very stable and your video and pictures will turn out great. It is top of the line for this price range of drones.The batteries last a long time and you get two of them in this package so you should get at least an hour of fight total with out having to recharge. The drone has the FAA required ID so you only need to register with the FAA, answer a few questions and pay the $5 fee.It is easy to fly, very stable and has all of the modes you could want. This drone has GPS and optical sensors for stability along with a gyro and it is almost as stable as a tripod while hovering. It has follow me, panorama mode, circle mode, spiral mode, etc. More modes than most people will ever use.The software is stable and impressive. Most drones have pretty poor software with decent hardware, but Holystone has been making drones for a long time and their software is full featured and reliable like the big drone manufacturers.The drone has auto take off, auto land, return to home and all of the features you would expect out of a good drone. It is super simple to fly and has different speed modes you can use for different video effects/scenarios. It is fast and powerful for recording moving objects like people on bikes. It does not lack for features.The range is great at 20,000 feet for video and controls. Legally you have to keep the drone with in eye sight distance so you will never go 20,000 feet out, but it is nice to know you will not lose contact with the drones controls and video.The controller is made of soft touch plastics, is easy to use and feels very premium. It has an LCD screen with telemetry and the buttons, dials and switches are simple to pick up and use. It is a high quality controller.This package comes with extra blades, adapters for Apple and Android phones, 2 batteries, charging cables and a very nice case. The case is thick, padded and looks very nice. The drone and accessories fit nice and snug so they are well protected.If I were to buy the DJI Mini 4k with all of these items it would be almost double the price and in my opinion not as good as the HS600D. Holystone has good customer service too which is rare these days. You can’t go wrong with this one and it will take great pictures and video of your vacation or anything else you may do. Five stars.
