HS990 is what weâve been waiting for!
Just got my new HS900 Drone – WOW! First impressions: sturdy, good documentation. New app has informative videos, console fits phone flat in front and includes cables to hook phone to console. Console speaks and provides information during flight. The phone does not get in the way of your fingures being in that location. I also have a 175D, this is easier to calibrate and flies right from the first liftoff.Took my HS900 for an initial spin this afternoon. A few observations:- having the ability to connect your phone to the controller by a wire is great. No fooling around with WiFi. Screen information easy to read.-11mph winds and 22 mile gusts and no wind movement. Flew at 300 ft. For almost two miles. The first video is attached – very pleased with quality for a novice photographer.-Response to commands were immediate to turn drone and increase speed.-Gimbal is stable and responsive. Even with the wind – picture is stable.-Return to home performed as promised.- 25 minutes of flight and still had time left!- Ordering a second battery as soon as they come available.This is an exceptional drone. Iâve only flown a 175D and the difference Is dramatic. First flight 10 out of 10. This is the best Holy Stone has released. Competes well with some of the big boys.

Easy To Use
Downloaded the app and had it flying in 15 minutes. The camera is stable, and the video looks good. I donât have the micro sd card for it yet so I canât say how it will look when played from the card on a computer. Comes with a nice case to hold the drone and accessories. Drone is being used to survey property for recreational purposes. So far the only complaint would be to have a longer lasting battery.

Not a good drone at all.
The flight range and battery life are nothing compared to whatâs advertised. Once the battery entered into low battery mode during the flight (15 minutes after a full charge) it flew itself straight up and died, free falling approximately 120 feet. This is unacceptable. Do not buy this drone.Value: PoorWeight: about the only thing positive about it is it is light.Performance: not as advertised.Ease of use: it is easy to control, but when it dies after 15 minutes of use mid flight, that doesnât matter much.I would share a video, but I couldnât make it past a 15 minute test flight.

WOW! This thing is almost as nice as my older DJI Mavic
I’m not a pro but I started flying my dads old Mavic and it was awesome. I crashed it and wanted to get something less expensive and found this ATOM kit. It’s honestly more fun to fly and the range seems better than the DJI. The video quality of the DJI is a touch better but the difference is mainly color which can be corrected. The Atom also doesn’t like to keep the horizon level at all times but it’s not a big deal for a novice who is just having fun. All in all, this kit is amazing and I’ve had a ton of fun with it and made some nice videos with it.

It’s a great drone, very stable pictures/video, range is good but, no where what they claim. Flight time is good. So after 2 weeks it won’t pair with the remote, waiting on a replacement.

this is a GREAT DRONE! It’s like driving a Cadillac, very smooth and stable, the camera on this drone is top notch Sony components, 48mp still photos 4k video, you can’t go wrong, this compares with those high dollar drones. Ive had 4 flights with my new HS900, all great, after I get a few more flights under my belt i’ll post more pics. thanks Holy Stone, Larry. Review update, iâve had the drone for about a month now, still very impressed with it. The HS 900 is very stable and has awesome pictures and video. Easily compares with one of those D drones although on a pre-fight flight inspection I noticed a small crack in the Fuselage of the drone at the battery compartment. Iâm assuming this is brought on by the heat from the battery Whether it be charging or discharging . I posted photos Displaying the problem as best I could. The crack doesnât photograph easily, so I inserted a Post-it note to display where it is.

This little drone Flies High, really high. The HS900 has it all. Stability, Response, Speed. This drone was so easy to learn how to fly. It also has many features. Lots of camera settings. You can adjust the Gimbal movement speed, great for videos. It’s definitely an upgrade of upgrades…!
