Must have
Great premium quality. the lens guard that I got out of the box got scratched during our vacation and it wasn’t a big scratch but on the footage, it’s noticeable. I went with the premium for replacement and I realized that I should’ve got one and instead of settling with the regular lens guard. It’s pretty pricey but the feel of it is definitely worth it. It was a similar installation as the regular and it functions as expected. perfect fit for my Insta360 X4

Don’t waste the money
For the cost these are horrible and labeling them ” premium” is a stretch. I used these once and are all scratched up to the point image quality is really bad . I would definitely try some cheaper aftermarket alternatives

It doesnât last on Motorcycles
One of the Lens guards fell on the first ride; this is the second pair. I donât recommend any lens guard by Insta 360. I have tried both, and it doesnât work for motorcycles because of lock mechanism flaws, which cannot tolerate motorcycle vibration.Edit: Support contacted and investigated the issue and is in the process of fixing it; I will give five stars to support and will update here if the new lens guard, with their instructions, will last bumpy motorcycle rides.

Its a bit bigger than the regular one
Hopefully it works better that the original one which I dropped from around 2 feet off the ground from the couch and got damage right away. This one comes out a bit more but the glass seems thicker. Fingers crossed.

Premium Lens Covers: A Glass Act That Falls Short
I bought these premium lens covers for my Insta360 X4 because, frankly, the standard plastic ones that came with the camera are about as useful as sunglasses on a mole. They’re impossible to clean properlyâalways leaving smudges that turn your shots into a glare-ridden messâand good luck getting them on or off without a wrestling match. So, I forked over $30+ for the “premium” glass ones, thinking they’d be a game-changer.Are they better? Eh, marginally. The smudges wipe off a bit easier (especially with the included dust rag), but micro dust particles cling to these like theyâre magnetized. Now, to be fair, I wasnât expecting miraclesâI know Insta360 mentions that glare can still happen with these covers, especially when shooting toward strong light sources. But still, the glare seems like itâs on a mission to ruin your perfect shot. And installation? Good grief. Unless you have the dainty fingers of a watchmaker, you’re going to struggle. I had to MacGyver it with a rubber band just to tighten or loosen them which just adds more smudges. Itâs like the lens covers were designed by someone who really hates people with normal-sized hands. For everyday use, Iâm sticking with the silicone lens guards I also bought. Those are WAY better for protection and infinitely easier to handle. The downside? You canât use the soft case that comes with the camera because it wonât fit with the silicone guards on. Thatâs a bummer since it means the whole camera isnât safe. Fortunately, I found a hard-sided carrying case that works perfectly with the silicone cover, and thatâs the solution Iâd recommend.Iâll keep the premium lens covers for those rare situations when I need extra protection, like mounting the camera outside a moving car, but otherwise, theyâll probably stay in the soft sided carrying case.

Donât Leave Home Without Them!
I have only had my Insta 360 X4 camera for a few months, but have already succeeded in having to replace one of these premium lens guards. I stuck my selfie stick out the opening on a gondola and hit the perimeter of the opening when doing so. Whammo! Without the lens guard, I would have been replacing the camera. All I had to do was remove the damaged one and replace it. I am happy that I spent the money on this built-in insurance policy!

Aún fabricados de cristal generan mucho flare.

I bought with my x4 after my theta1 fell over and broke. These covers donât affect image at all. Took it to Europe for some 360 pics and they look great. No issues with minor bumps. No scratches etc.

Lo bueno es que protege, lo malo es que si quita un poco de nitidez y claridad .
