[CORRECTED] Wrong specs – doesn’t maintain connection
Original review is below, for clarities sake. But that appears to have been a mistake on my part. Although my other cables that I’ve had for a couple years still work fine, these new ones weren’t working. However, upon cleaning the charging port thoroughly (very thoroughly!) on my iphone, these cables now work perfectly, just as I expected them to given the good ratings! It was this doubt that made me double clean the charging port. The first cleaning wasn’t as complete as I thought it had been. Lesson: Clean your charging ports!![Original, now out-dated and corrected, review]:Doesn’t click into the phone as it should. The connection is feeble. It charges when juuust right, but any small movements tend to disrupt. Also, for using as a connection for actual data transfer, it doesn’t seem to work at all. My iphone’s connection to the CarPlay service on the car stereo doesn’t ever work with these cables. It does work with others. These, I would never buy again, or recommend to anyone. Maybe a bad batch, but in the end, I’ve got three unusable cables.

I liked being able to put multiple chargers throughout my house that can reach when Iâm laying on the couch or in the bed. Compared to the original apple chargers, they donât charge as fast but Iâm completely fine with that. Just something to think about

You get what you pay for
The charging speed is okay, it takes a bit longer than it would with the standard iPhone charger. I love the length because I can position myself comfortably in my bed to watch videos and it gives you more movement. It does sometimes go out and you have to position it at a certain angle or insert it into the phone a lot of times until it starts to charge. Itâs a good charger if you donât need to be on your phone like a good overnight charger while you sleep or stay in one place. If you need a more durable charger for constant movement then this wouldnât be the right one for you. Iâve had this charger for about 3 months and that is what happened so far.

Length is good, donât work on cars stereo like Apple car play it keeps disconnecting so annoying. Charging works fine. Not so tough need to be careful not too accidentally pull it or it wonât work anymore. Donât leave it on your vehicle when the weather gets freezing cold Iâll stop working. Itâs cheap but not good enough.
