Only been about 3 days with it but so far works great no issues as of yet. My blink doorbell fits perfectly in it. Had to charge fully before use. Worth the money and saves more in battery costs. Super easy to install. Didnt even need all the installation pieces.

NO MORE BATTERIES
This took a few minutes to install and it has already paid off in the annoyance (or lack of annoyance now) of changing batteries. I live in a neighborhood with people constantly out and about and cars constantly going by. Even with motion detection set to a minimum, the doorbell was still eating batteries every month. Not anymore. I can’t recommend this enough.Update on 2/25/24Well, it worked great until it didn’t. It hasn’t even been 3 months and regardless of whether it is full sun or whether I am powering it via an outlet, it no longer powers the camera. It’s a shame I will have to replace this with a competitor’s device that I really didn’t like as much aesthetically. Let’s be honest, though, function is 100% the most important thing with security cameras and smart doorbells. After just a couple of months of regular use, this no longer functions. That isn’t acceptable. I have taken the camera off the solar mount and installed batteries and it came right up. So the problem is definitely the mount.

Itâs definitely worth the purchase. A little bulky but no more replacing batteries! I noticed sometimes my doorbell wonât record but I think itâs because where I have it installed sometimes it doesnât get charged from the light. To get it back charging I pull up the door bell a little bit and close it back and it instantly starts running again.Highly recommend

This thing is great! Iâve had it installed for 11.5 months now and keeps a charge with no issue.I did have to put a piece of black gorilla tape on the top to hold it, Iâm not sure why it wouldnât âclickâ in like the bottom, but this wasnât enough for me to send it back.100% would buy again and recommend to anyone with a Blink Doorbell camera!

I wish it had a flat plate sealed wall mount with it, but it only has a wedge style so I donât get the panoramic 180 view that I really wanted, but it still works well. I love not having to put Batteries in the camera all the time. âmoney saverâ!

Not the best
I had high hopes for this when we got it. But….. it didn’t work the way I would have likes. It does work, but not for high usage cameras. I have the door bell camera at the end of our drive way next to the gate. The 1st few days, it seemed to hold charge, but then slowly stopped. It would alert that someone was there but not enough charge to record let alone talk to someone at the gate. We moved it to a back door that hardly gets used, and it’s been just fine. Mounting was easy.

Always hated changing batteries in the blink doorcam. Charged this up and installed quickly/easily. had it up for more than 3 months and havent had to change a battery yet. awesome product

Wasnât expecting much from this blink solar panel doorbell fitting but thought it worth a try as doorbell in heavy traffic area and liyhium batteries were getting expensive. Well iys been over a month now and despite removing the original batteries and it being the coldest April I remember itâs working just fine. Its positioned Under a porch which gets late afternoon sun but thatâs been a bit weak of late as mostly rain. Despite that the doorbell cam is working just fine. Very easy to fit and set up. I wasnât sure where toposition It at first so used strong MMM sticky pads instead of making yet more screw holes. They are still holding well so may not change them.

The doorbell is also secured by a screw in making it more secure than the blink option.Only had for a few months so can’t comment on the solar efficiency but it’s essentially a powerbank that is at least double the installed batteries, all good so far.

Super Produkt ð kann ich problemlos weiterempfehlen. Ich habe es jetzt schon seit zwei Wochen im Einsatz und habe keine Probleme. Die Verbindung ist auch sehr schnell da(Schneller wie mit Batterie) und jederzeit abrufbar. Ständige Batterie wechseln ist mit diesem Produkt Vergangenheit. Ich habe meine Doorbell an einem Ort, wo sehr viel Bewegung da ist und ich habe nicht mal einen Tag Probleme damit gehabt gehabt. Das Ding ist ziemlich groà und hat auch dementsprechend viel Akkukapazität.
