Easy to connect, Exactly what I needed for the Christmas Tree Lights.
This worked perfectly for my Christmas tree lights and star setup. Wanted a timer and control function without having to reach for the outlet. KASA items are super easy to connect to your WIFI/Phone, took less than 2 minutes to get everything and working. Great value as well, quality build.

Versatile Power Strip for Independent Device Control
This Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip is fantastic for managing multiple devices independently, all from one strip. As always, TP-Link devices are reliable, and this power strip integrates well with my Home Assistant system. The Kasa app makes managing automation’s for the strip a breeze. If you have several devices that need individual control from a single location, this power strip is highly recommended. It works consistently and offers a trustworthy solution for smart home enthusiasts.

    Love it
I honestly love this extension cord because it works through Wi-Fi and I can control my devices even if I am not in the house. There is a timer I can set it up. It works with Alexa. The insulation was pretty simple. The size and the shape are good and it actually looks nice. The cord is not very long but for what I needed works pretty good. It’s easy to use easy install and it’s worth it of the money.

    Great Product
I have a few devices from kasa and everything works. Picked this up for the Xmas tree lights and topper. Easy to add the device within their app and schedule on/off operations.

Works well … nearly all of the time
This smart power strip continues to do what it’s advertised to do … 99.9% of the time. That 0.1% is the problem, but I’ll get to that.It worked out of the box using the instructions provided. I downloaded the Kasa Smart app onto my phone, and after setup I was able to name and control the power strip’s three outlets (I got the version with three outlets) independently, or combine two or all of them together into a group and control them at the same time. I can also control them with Google Home. It’s advertised as also being compatible with Alexa, but I don’t have anything with Alexa, so I can’t test that firsthand. Each outlet also has a toggle button that allows the user to switch that outlet on or off manually, and each button has an LED that shows whether the outlet is currently supplying power to whatever’s plugged into it. This is a bigger deal than one might think at first. Imagine a desk lamp with a chain that can be pulled to turn it on or off, but you can’t tell by just looking at it whether that pull-chain switch is on or off. Now imagine that you plug it into this power strip and it doesn’t light up. Where’s the problem – is the light bulb burned out? Is the lamp turned off? Is the power strip’s outlet off? Well, I can eliminate the third question by just looking at this power strip and making sure that the outlet is on, so one pull of the lamp’s chain will tell me whether the light bulb is burned out or not.The thing is, occasionally the power strip will just suddenly stop responding to the network. I don’t know what causes this, but it will suddenly and silently disconnect; its power light and connection light will say that it’s powered and connected to wi-fi, but the app says it can’t contact the device. I can still manually toggle the outlets on and off with the buttons, but I can’t control it with the app, or Google Home, etc. I can unplug the device and plug it back in, resetting it, and things work again. But I never know when it’s going to glitch again, and that unreliability is what gives this device four stars instead of five for me. It doesn’t happen every day – it’s been weeks since the last time it happened, in fact – but not knowing what caused it or when it’s going to happen again adds just enough uncertainty that I can’t quite trust it. I’m not going to plug anything into it that might be disastrous if it couldn’t be controlled.Very well designed other than that shadow of unreliability.

    Easy
Just what I needed … I had purchased a different type smart strip and it was complicated to set up and didn’t work well with Alexa , even though it claimed it would , but this strip set up in a few minutes and works great with Alexa …

    Excellent Smart Plug Power Strip
When I ordered, I was not familiar with “Kasa.” To my pleasant surprise, the box boldly displayed TP-LINK–a trusted brand I am familiar, particularly for their WiFi extenders. The power strip has a very heavy duty cord with a flat 90-degree plug. All three outlets can be independently turned on and off, and you can name the plugs as well as attach photos of what the plug is associated with. The Kasa Smart power strip solved a problem I was having with my Anker SOLIX C300. Since the Anker SOLIX power station doubles as a U.P.S., I have an internet router and 3d Printer connected to the Anker’s AC outlets. In this way, a power blip would not turn off internet and would not ruin a 3d print that may have been printing for many hours. The internet router is always on. I used a smart plug to remotely turn on the 3d printer, but each time the Anker would shut off power to everything including the internet router. The Kasa solved this issue and I am able to use the Anker as intended. 5 stars!
