Great videos
I have some old Yi Cams and wanted to replace them since they werenât allowing footage review on sd cards all of a sudden and frankly needed better video quality. Seen this Kasa Spot cam, bought 1 to try and was impressed at the video quality especially at night! I face them all outside from indoors. Came back and ordered 3 more and added sd cards to all of them. Great quality with friendly prices and super easy setup to boot!

Very simple and portable camera
Definitely worth the money, and works fantastic. It is unable to move camera position remotely, (there are other Kasa cameras with that feature), so we use this as our portable baby monitor when we are on the go. It has night vision, and we can put a microSD card in it for recording. One thing I don’t like about it is that it has no support for 5ghz Wifi band, only 2.4ghz.

All of our home security is KASA
We have over 10 of these in our house and absolutely love them. One of the best things is that they donât require a subscription service. The cameras have worked excellently for us with almost no issues. Image quality is great, and the app for playback is smooth and usually lag-free.The only trouble weâve had was during rolling blackouts, which occasionally caused some devices to unpair and need resetting. In a few cases, the power issues also corrupted the micro SD cards, which was unfortunate but not the camerasâ fault. Overall, weâre big fans of the Kasa systemâitâs been a reliable setup for us.

Reliable and High-Quality Kasa Smart Security Camera
I’ve been using the Kasa Smart Security Camera primarily for home security, and it has exceeded my expectations. The 1080p HD resolution provides crystal-clear video, making it easy to monitor my home with precision. The zoom feature is incredibly useful, allowing me to focus in on any suspicious activity without losing image quality. Although there’s a $10 monthly subscription for Kasa Care, the advanced monitoring and security features it unlocks are definitely worth it for the added peace of mind. Overall, this camera is a standout for anyone looking for a dependable security solution. Highly recommended!

I love it so far!
At first I was frustrated that it wouldnât connect to the WiFi just found out itâs person error. Once everything was connected showed me how I can install it to the wall or anywhere else. The video quality is great. It does require a subscription if you want to get better updated with motion and saves the videos can watch later. The sd card helps with saving the recordings and better response. If you get it on the deal now itâs definitely worth the money.Itâs on the smaller size but thatâs perfect if youâre looking to put a camera in a tight space. The night time quality could be better but you have to put the camera in a position where itâs brighter in the room to see everything.

Great for pets
I’m someone who likes to go on frequency trips out of town so this is something that’s great to keep an eye on my tortoise. Kasa is easy to use, control and setup. I’ve been using a variety of their products for years simply because they just work without issue. Download the Kasa app, turn on bluetooth follow a couple steps and boom, you are connected. The quality is great even when I am away on a 4g network. The biggest reason I love Kasa cameras is the fact that I don’t have to pay for cloud subscriptions. Everything is locally stored and free to access. Overall, a low cost, high quality option for those that don’t want to pay monthly.

Avoid Kasa cameras
It saddens me to write a negative review about any Kasa product. Iâve bought dozens of them and they are in everyday use throughout my home. In fact I canât imagine what it would be without all of the smart plugs, switches , bulbs, etc. And their app is hands-down the best in the industry.KASA CAMERASI bought one of the first Kasa cameras several years ago and frankly I wasnât impressed. Fast forward to today and Iâm still not impressed with Kasa cameras. I truly believe that TP-LINK is over their heads trying to sell smart cameras when they clearly donât know what theyâre doing. And when it comes to cameras of any type I am a recognized expert. Yes letâs be real, how much can you expect for thirty bucks? What are they trying to prove? Itâs virtually impossible to make and sell anything other than a toy at that price. I feel strongly enough about how useless this camera is my advice to Kasa is to either get in seriously or get out of the camera selling business.SPECIFICSI actually didnât get beyond how cheap this thing looks and feels. The day I got it I attempted to add it to my system. Remember, Iâve already got about a dozen of their smart devices in use, Iâm not a newcomer to adding devices. It installed in the usual way. And worked for less than a minute. Then it self-destructed. Poof, dead. I tried everything and the app wonât even recognize itâs there. Their so-called help solutions put 100% of the blame on the customer, not one word of help if the product actually fails. So I tried to open a tech support ticket. They ignored me. I waited a week and tried again. They ignored me again. That is the kiss of death for me for any product, I donât care who they are. Customer service and tech support can take a five-star product down to a recommendation to avoid it in a heartbeat.YES OR NOI can allow for a product that is DOA, no manufacturing process is perfect. I can close my eyes to that and not blame the brand if they make a reasonable effort to make it good. But to ignore a customer? That is an immediate recommendation to avoid, not their entire product line, but their smart cameras. They should not be in the business of selling a product that they are not qualified to understand and support.

I thought I was buying from Amazon and did not realize when I found a better deal on the same page that it was a 3rd party seller.Long story short I purchased this to use as a baby monitor and realized I could not see all angles of the room, a security issue in my mind.I tried returning the camera and the seller says I am subject to a restocking fee, shipping fees to Quebec and that it is my problem I bought a product that does not work for me.To buy from this seller, you must be 100% certain you will not change your mind as these fees are meant to deter returns.

Works amazing, picks up and notifies my of noises, motion and people. Not sure what Iâd do without it.My only wish is that the power plug wasnât so big, awkward and ugly. Cord length is great though.

Picture quality is quite good. Simple setup. On my Android Razor+ 2023 it doesn’t close well using Google commands. I think a software upgrade from the manufacturer is needed.I don’t know why there is no looping with the SD card you have to reformat the SD card when it’s full. I assume it’s to get you to purchase yet another cloud service they have available. That doesn’t make me a loyal customer. Other than that good at this price point.
