Too frustrating to use.
Way, WAY too frustrating to use. (I don’t get it….King stuff is usually pretty good. I have had both TV antennas and satellite dishes from them that were great.)When using with a less than perfect RV park WiFi (and let’s face it, they are almost ALWAYS less than perfect), every time a blip would occur with the park’s WiFi signal, it would shut down the network and reboot. Constantly…….’Really great when you’re trying to get work done that requires devices in the network to talk to each other, or just trying to stream Plex or Emby to the TV. (Which, if configured correctly does not require internet access.) That’s not the worst though. No matter what device I used, no matter what browser I used, I could never reliably access the setup page in the router. “Probably about a 10% success rate. If the browser didn’t simply refuse to connect, there were about three different pages that I would randomly get instead of the setup page, each with different instructions on how to get to the setup page, which of course never, ever worked….Not one single time……Then, sometimes for no good reason, I could get right in. Maybe I just got a lemon, but my experience was extremely frustrating. I could not get it back in the box and out of my life fast enough.

The set up is easy, all you have to do is follow instructions, definitely good bang for your buck
I purchased for a secure connection, as I use it while camping from my truck, and it works as expected, I can what he videos on youtube, do email, and listen to music. Iâve had it on my dash inside the truck and on the roof of the truck, will say it is better on the roof( l did not purchase roof antenna). Needless to say Iâm happy!

RV Campsite WiFi went from Ugh to Yeah!!
Bought this for our Airstream RV where the campground WiFi was unbearable. Typical download speeds on their unboosted network were 0.20Mbps to 0.40Mbps. Websites were barely functional and Roku streaming was 720p resolution with occasional buffering issues. I bought this unit just to see if it would help, even though I was told by tech people that boosting a crappy signal would still emit crap. Well… I set it up in about 5-10 minutes, easy. I initially set the router in front of the RV back window, and was disappointed to see that my download speeds did not improve. Then we experimented with moving the router around in front of different windows. Low and behold, our speed test jumped from “very slow” to “fast” with consistent 29 to 30Mbps download speeds. Reconnected the Roku to the King network and Boom! YouTube TV streaming popped up blazing fast with 1080p resolution and no buffering. I am beyond happy! I had considered getting an external antenna also, but having this unit alone in the right window position is more than satisfactory.

Works better than I expected
I mainly bought this so I could use open wifi with some amount of security via my password. I tested it at home. I could not pick up my house wifi from my camper without it. Now I can not only get my house wifi but I can stream video. Good stuff!

Provided secure WIFI network
Helped a bit with the poor reception at the rv park. Ordered the additional exterior antenna which helped. At least it has provided a secure WIFI system for our use. Not much help with TV reception however.
