Bought this for my cat to wear after surgery. Itâs perfect and doesnât scare her. She can walk around, eat, drink and sleep like normal. Itâs soft and washable. I did notice she was able to groom her lady area but was unable to get to her stitches on her stomach. She is 9.8lbs and is wearing a size M

Much better than a cone
Bought to help stop my cat from scratching at her face and let some sores from her skin allergies heal. Don’t get me wrong, she hates it, but she has better mobility and comfort than the typical cone/e-collar.The biggest advantage I see is that it does not interfere with the cat’s whiskers and is out of their field of vision Bonus it your cat looks adorable wearing it, even if they are seething at you from across the room.Easy to slip on and adjust. As long as the drawstring is not over tight, your cat should be able to squeeze out of it in an emergency, but I do not leave it on my cat when I go out or am asleep, just in case.

So much better than the plastic cone
Our kitty had surgery on her back and this was so much easier for her to eat, drink, and sleep. Not sure if it would deter licking on her belly (as for spay or neutering) but for us, it worked great.

It does it’s job but it is not as puffy as I had hoped and the fabric is not the best quality, but for the price it is worth it. It is easily machine washed and much more comfortable for my cat than a traditional plastic cone. Super light weight and adjustable, but if not tightened correctly my cat can easily remove it.

This is a super cute and fun looking recovery collar. I only returned this because I got the wrong size for my kitten. But it is adorable and felt and looked like really good quality. I’d order it again with the right size but my kitten no longer needs it. I love the design.

Almost worked
Very cute and soft. Kitty got used to it right away butâ¦. After drinking water the collar got soaked. It became a sponge basically. We didnât notice right away and when we did the collar was dirty from litter getting stuck to it. Big mess. So it didnât work out but we have it as a back up. Using a tiny water bowl now as well that requires more refills but oh well. Washed up fine by hand and In machine. Used a color catcher just incase and air dried it. We had to get a much larger collar because kitty was sneaky and able to get to her back foot which was and is still healing.

I received this with 2 holes in it⦠I need it now (as it is an excellent alternative to the traditional âcone of shame,â because it will not put as much pressure on my dogâs trachea) but I cannot put it on my dog in this condition!*helpful buyer note: I have two adult shih tzu (11 & 13 lbs) and they both would need a large ⦠this large would also fit my big 18 pound cat⦠it however would be too big for my small and medium cats (they both would probably need a medium)â¦

Perfect for tiny kittens!
I got this for a foster kitten with a terrible tail injury, to prevent her from licking the wound and later the amputation site. She was about 3 weeks old and 1.5 lbs, so she was way too small for any readily available cone. Although we used the paper plate trick, it just didn’t seem comfortable for 24 hour use. She was already going through so much, and we really wanted to make her as comfortable as possible! I spent hours looking through products and reviews before finding this little neck pillow, and took a chance on it. IT’S PERFECT!It’s comfortable, easy to clean and keeps it’s shape even after weeks of non-stop use. The inside cord is adjustable and it stays in place once you’ve fit it to the animal. We would fit it with just a bit of extra room (maybe finger width) for comfort, and this also gave just enough space to tuck the end of the cord in so it wasn’t dangling over the pillow or getting in the way. I took it off for her to eat and for about 30 minutes of cuddles/neck scratches each day, but other than that she wore it full-time. It even went through surgery with her! I loved how adjustable it was even for such a small baby, and how it is lightweight and gave her a little pillow to rest her chin on when she napped. I don’t think any animal enjoys having something on their neck, but this really seems like the best possible option. Highly, highly recommended – especially for littles!
