Perfect for voice control with Alexa
These light bulbs are incredibly useful while using voice communications such as Google home or Alexa.I battled slightly setting up one of the bulbs with Alexa since it was undiscoverable, I simply went through the Alexa app itself and was able to set it up this way. One of the bulbs however needed to be set up with the Lepro + app, so just keep that in mind if you are struggling.Once the bulbs are connected it is smooth sailing from there. I just simply tell Alexa to change the bulb color to “Blue, Green, Purple, Etc.” Or you can even say “Alexa, Dim the lights.”Alexa instantly responds and if there are any issues connecting she will tell you which light bulb is affected. In the Alexa app, you can name each bulb and it prospective room which is helpful for identifying which room you want lights turned on or off and which color.Overall wonderful bulbs, I have been using these for a couple of years and the hands free ability to connect my lights with any color I want is an exceptional addition to my home!

Pretty, but initial setup can take a while
These lights are really fun to play with, but setting them up to work with Alexa can be time consuming. It took me about 2 hours to get everything connected and responding to voice commands, mostly because the app needed to install and operate the bulbs is clunky.I am loving them, though Alexa doesn’t recognize a lot of colors the app offers.

One worked, one didnât.
Unfortunately, one bulb arrived not working. I love the lightbulb that works! Easy to set up and connect. It has bright colors. Turns on and off easily. Messaged the manufacturer about a replacement bulb, they responded instantly via email and they did not offer replacement but did refund me for half my order.

Very cool – work great with Alexa, kids are going to love them!
Didn’t expect much for this price point, but the colors are really great. We used them in a ceiling fan so there are three up there, and we think the brightness for the white is great for a bedroom. We integrated with Alexa and they seem to be working well, the only issue I’ve noticed is that one of the lights sometimes changes color half a second before the other two in some “scenes” like “colorful.” I love that Alexa recognizes weird colors like “teal” and “chartreuse.” They dim well and they can do a rainbow mode where they slowly change colors; you can set the colors you want to include. Overall, we’re super happy with them and have already ordered more.My husband set up the app, it seemed pretty straightforward: set up an account, set up the groups (Kid1 bedroom, kid2 bedroom), add to the Alexa app, tell the Alexa app which Echo Dot you want to control which lights (so you can say “turn off the lights” when you’re in the room you want the lights off in, instead of saying the full name of the light like you’d have to do from another room). You can still manage the lights from other Alexa devices but you have to use the full name (“Turn off the lights in Jessica’s bedroom”).We didn’t have any of the grouping problems that other people seemed to have, not sure what’s going on there.We’ve only had them for a day so I’ll update the review if we come across any issues.

Fun, just keep your Bluetooth off
So I didn’t bother connecting to it to Bluetooth which you can do its totally fine I’m sure. It works fine, as advertised. Sometimes though if you leave you phone’s Bluetooth device on it will breakout and you have to reset it. Other than it, it works fine with just the wifi.I love setting the mood and just have a bright light that isn’t white so when I wake up early and people are still sleeping, it’s not as waking. I can still have good vibes to start my day and people can still enjoy sleep.

App doesnât work so neither do the lights
These bulbs worked as advertised for about 15 minutes. Now I canât even open the Lepro app on my phone – it just crashes. Iâve uninstalled and reinstalled it several times with no luck. Sure, the lights turn on and off, but I canât use them as smart bulbs without a functional app.

We purchased 6 new bulbs as an upgrade from the old version of these. The new features are pretty cool, the brightness is great, and there’s a huge array of new settings to choose from.However we have major connectivity issues with the app. It’s a 50/50 chance of getting them to work from the app. Sometimes you can get them to connect again by refreshing the app, but most of the time you have to manually flip the switch on and off multiple times to get them to work. Which kind of defeats the purpose of being a smart bulb. Also good luck if you turned the bulb off while it was a different color, you won’t be able to change it if it won’t connect to the appWhen they connect, they’re pretty neat, but if you want to exclusively control them with your phone, I would NOT purchase.

These lightbulbs blew my expectations out of the water. I bought these to replace some old COLOUR changing lightbulbs that I had for 5 years because one of them stopped working and with how cheap these ones are and lightweight compared to my old ones, I thought that these might not be too good at first but after trying them out I was amazed with how many abilities these have starting right off the bat with very fast and easy pairing, my old ones were a huge pain to connect. They are also really bright! My old ones were bright if I put them into normal white modes but in colour modes they were way too dim but these ones are very vibrant and bright even in their colourful settings. Of course they are dimmable too via the app or by voice if you have a smart speaker. Overall, I think they are pretty much the best in class and the music mode is alright and not perfect by any means but it can also be fun to mess around with from time to time

White output has equiv lumens to a 10W white LED (60W equiv). Colours are not as bright likely because white is from high power dedicated LEDs and are of lower output than the RGB LEDs. App is great – lots of options, can really do anything, though app can be somewhat confusing until you get how it works. Had a few seconf and third attempts to get lights synced to the app. Followed to the letter and did not always work (set up 6 bulbs). But once they’re set up on your AP, they stay on the wifi no issues (using for a month now).

Took a bit to get them connected to the wifi and you need bluetooth to do the initial setup but after that they have been great. I have them outside in a 3 post light so we’ll have to see how they work in the winter but so far I’m happy with them.
