These light bulbs from Lepro are amazing! Download the Lepro app on your smart phone and connect the bulbs via Bluetooth and Wifi to begin operating the light bulbs by voice via Amazon Alexa, Alexa Echo, Echo Dot and Google Assistant. Update: We installed the 2 Lepro B2 AI Smart Light Bulbs at our weekend getaway cabin and we are super pleased with their reliability and easy operation via the Lepro Smart Phone app. We can turn them on/off any time we please. Great smart bulbs that are easy to setup.
This 2 pack of Lepro smart bulbs were easy to install and work just as they should. These bulbs are 1100 lumens, which is equivalent to about a 75 watt incandescent bulb but requires only 10 watts to operate. To setup the bulbs you must download yet another app to your phone but at least the app works well. After the Bluetooth setup you simply hand it off to your 2.4Ghz wifi. No hub is required and it works seamlessly with Alexa and Google to using voice control, thanks to AI. As far as price they are a little more expensive than many of the other smart bulbs but they are a solid addition to my smart home lighting and the artificial intelligence justifies the price.

Not too hard to set up.
These smart bulbs are not too hard to set up. There is an app that you have to install on your phone and register with an email and password. That part was easy enough for me, but I did not really remember how to connect it with Alexa from previous smart bulbs that I have purchased, lol. Took a while of asking Alexa and poking around to get it, but once I did it all worked nicely … both with Alexa and with the Lepro+ app that needs to be installed on your phone.There’s endless customizing (it seemed endless to me, lol) you can make by editing on the smart bulb’s app. It does have AI to assist you if you want it as well. The app will ask you to turn on the bluetooth in order to use it with the rotating color customization.It states in the app that it only works with 2.4 GHz wi-fi and does not work with 5 GHz, in case that would be a problem for anyone.Over all I think these are nice smart bulbs. The app needed for them is fairly simple to use. They are compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant. I can recommend these smart bulbs.TRIGGER WARNING … for those sensitive to flashing colors / lights. These bulbs could possibly be problematic for anyone using the rotating color customization if they or someone in the same room are sensitive to flashing lights. Some of them do rotate colors fast and vividly.

Nice bright bulbs, horrible app
These bulbs are nice and bright at 1100 lumens (they’re dimmable). The colors are vibrant and it was relatively easy to set up. However the app is horrible! You can set only 1 schedule, and for some reason the lights will revert to default every day they turn back on. Custom themes do not always save. The AI is horrible. It seems to create the same theme over and over no matter what you tell it.

Easy to Set up. Very Bright
I love these smart light bulbs and will be updating all bulbs in my home to these if possible. They are easy and quick to set up, instructions are provided if you need assistance. The range of colors is great, even the tone of whites you can choose from. The brightness is amazing compared to other smart bulbs I’ve owned. These bulbs have the bright white setting, which is so much better than the yellow toned bulbs. As other smart bulbs, these can be set on a timer to come on or off and when they are going off they start dimming at your preference.

I got these to put in my sons room so that he can have super bright light when needed but also warmer or fun colours for other times. To operate the bulbs, they need to be paired with the dedicated app. The app works pretty well so far but does require to create an account. Also I was hoping we could just create a single account and be logged in on both his and my cell phones but it logs the other out when one logs in. You can share but requires two accounts to be created.The app works pretty well but I honestly don’t understand the whole “AI” thing, probably just trying to capitalize by using the AI buzz word. I guess your suppose to tell it your mood and stuff but when I try it just sets random patterns and they all seem to flash very quickly with no way of slowing the effect down (none that I saw anyways). I would prefer an effect editor where you can set your own colour transitions and effect speeds. But the lights are quite bright, when set to a bright white light, it lights up the room well. Also the app seems to connect right away without issues, nice to not have to fiddle.Overall these RGB light bulbs are good value, they work well, and are bright. The AI aspect of the app is my least favourite but this is stuff they could change through updates so who knows. Still a good value and a nice set of bulbs for the price.

Once I screwed the bulb in and turned the switch on, the bulbs were immediately detected in the app.The bulbs can be changed to any colour you like and the bright was can also be adjusted. There are various built-in animations for the bulb in the Lepro app, whether you want to have a party or set a romantic mood.The bulbs can be useful in a variety of settings from a bedside table to a party room. Connecting to Alexa was easy as I already had the Lepro skill connected in Alexa.

Lepro B2 AI smart light bulbs are very bright and capable of displaying different colors. The Lepro app is easy to set up and can find the bulb if you follow the steps. There’s AI feature and a music sync feature, but I think the most important feature is that the bulb is bright and the highest brightness level satisfies needs. The part I don’t like is that there is no local mode, you will need an account. There is also no local pairing instruction other than having to enable location service, which I am not willing to enable for third party apps. In general, those bulbs are a great replacement for common bulbs, just slightly larger and very capable with remote control features.
