Great picture
Got this TV for hubby. He’s housebound and spends a lot of time watching TV. Great clear sharp picture, easy set up and programming. Very happy with this purchase and we’ll priced.

Good tv BUTâ¦
This TV was gorgeous! The display was amazing and it was easy to use. HOWEVER, there was a manufacturing error in mine that warped the image. The return process was GREAT and I got my refund fast. Overall a great deal but just beware when ordering online (this is not uncommon with any TV seller).

Great picture, but everything else disappointing.
The image quality is great, but I hate everythiong else about this TV. The “Smart” features are idioticly designed. Navigating the interface is painful enough that I had to but a Roku. The remote is designed even worse. Sound is okay, but not so good that you won’t want a sounbar. There are only two HDMI inputs so after connecting a Roku and a soundbar, you won’t be able to connect a BluRay player without purchasing a splitter also. I am baffled as to why LG has such a good reputation.

LG 50UP7000PUA Likes and Dislikes
Love the TV with all of its viewing options. Has a great picture and lots of menu settings to be had. However, my only three dislikes are there seems to be a sound issue whereby it seems to float (hearable to low and back). Both of my LG’s do this. Also, the remote gives me fits sometimes hitting wrong buttons; and I wish it had more in and out connections like the upper models. Otherwise, I’d recommend a purchase.

lasted just after the 3 yr warranty
TV was fine in the begining. LG Model 50UM 6900 PUA.Great from straight on but less sharp the more you sat to the side.3yrs & 4 months, Black screen. Toast. Going Samsung.

It has many apps which give you free channels and movies. (All be it some of them only have pretty old movies on them) But it has subscribable apps like Crave, Prime, netflix, apple etc. I’ve been a mamber of netflix for many years and It’s definaely time for a change. I also have the same TV in my fifth wheel and at campgrounds it gives me good connectivity. I love the LG channels as well. (Free) Very pleased with this unit.

This tv is awesome, but it’s advertised to include a smart remote control for alexa application, but the control that came with it is not that and it doesn’t have the alexa button in it. I emailed the seller and the told me that was not part of the deal and that it’s not advertised with that.

I owned an exact tv as this one that i purchased in 2019. The new one has a half dozen extra features when compared to my 2 or 3 year old set. However, you need a smart remote or a built in Alex to navigate all the content on the LG because LG has about 200 of its own channels that you can stream for free as part of your purchase. Plus, with Prime for another $ 7.99 you get another vast array of programming. Also, I bought the Amazon Fire TV remote and that’s just like Alexa but not built in. So now, i have to find order a new phone because the LG App at the PLAYSTORE requires at least a 7 Internal Operating system or ISO to down load and connect Alexa to the new television.
