I am a late 30’s, over weight male. Because of chronic pain conditions, fibromyalgia, and working at home, my energy levels, mood, and drive has just been abysmal. I decided to try DHEA supplements to see if I could gain a little more of that energy I used to have.Now, I do not know my lab levels, nor have I been diagnosed with Low-T or any other hormone related issues. At least not yet, but as soon as I popped a tablet under my tongue, I immediately felt a rush of energy. I actually ended up spitting it out after it dissolved halfway. It was like chugging a pot of coffee, but without the shakes. I did not expect this, but after I calmed down a bit, I welcomed the extra energy. Later that day I took a nap and slept like a rock for the first time in a long time and It was accompanied with quite pleasant dreams ;). I must have some kind of hormone imbalance to feel such an effect, but regardless this brand definitely works. I am not a fan of the under-the-tongue sublingual absorption. The slight numbing effect of the dissolving tabs, mixed with its chalky taste is not that pleasant and it takes about 5-10 minutes for it to fully dissolve. However, do not swallow it! Your stomach acid will change the make up and destroy the supplement, which means you will not absorb much of it at all, if any. So be sure to leave it under the tongue. Once dissolved swish around with coffee, or juice, iced tea, or something with strong taste.

It’s okay… taste is kind of bleah… I like the capsules better.
Some thoughts:1) I like DHEA, and usually like LE as a brand.2) I’ve bought their DHEA in the past (in the form of capsules); I actually bought this by mistake thinking it was a capsule.3) I tried letting one dissolve in my mouth… it didn’t dissolve, so I just chewed it.4) For a dissolvable, or chewable, product, the taste is kinda bleah. They need to work on improving it.5) I do plan to use the bottle up, but in the future, I’ll just buy the product in capsules.
