ANDROID USERS MUST DO THIS TO GET THE BULBS TO PAIR!
As the Title Suggests. The process for setting up these bulbs is unnecessarily complex for android users, but once you do it, the actual use of the bulbs is simple.In order to get the devices to show connect to you wifi network, you MUST enable airplane mode on your android device and then enable your wifi afterward on the device WHILE KEEPING AIRPLANE MODE ENABLED.For whatever reason, the app will time out and fail to pair the device if you do not do this. this is in the instructions on the website when you got to troubleshoot the issue, but for whatever reason that have not updated the literature inside of the box itself.Even after you do this, the bulb may fail to connect to the network the first time you go to pair it. if that happens, simple turn it off and on 5 times and allow it to cycle through the light sequence before attempting to pair it again.As for the product itself, It is extremely bright and has a great quality to the light. I am replacing a house full of lohas smart bulbs, and the the difference in the quality and color of light in person is night and day. Its cleaner, its more even, and it fills a space better.The picture in the listing is the Lifx bulb on the right and the Lohas bulb on the left. Keep in mind you can often get 8 lohas bulbs from the price of a SINGLE lifx so they punch well above their weight class, but there is a difference and a noticeable one is a side by side comparison.The array of visible colors is much better and the accuracy of often hard to hit colors like yellows, vibrant greens, and pink are present and vibrant.The ONLY issue i have with these bulbs is the pairing process. There is no reason i can fathom that it needs to be this complex, but it is and for the result i am willing to pay the price of having to turn on airplane mode for the initial setup.no issued controlling these with my google enabled home devices.Would reccomend.

Basement Dwellers Dream!
My bedroom is in a basement with no windows. I needed a way to accurately simulate the sunrise to make it easier to get up in the morning. Those dinky sunrise alarm clocks were awful and did not work. I bought two of these bulbs and put one on each side of my bed in the bedside lamps. The app has a specific sunrise feature that automatically simulates sunrise accurately based off of your location so it changes daily to simulate an accurate sunrise as it occurs in nature. The bulbs are bright and the gradual increase of light is just wonderful. Also, in the app there are great colors and features to play with. Set up as very easy. Great product!

Awesome Smart Bulb
Really happy with this smart bulb. It’s brighter than all the other bulbs I’ve tried, and that includes the colors. With the ones from other brands I’ve tried, usually only the white is bright and the colors are quite dim, but this bulb has very bright and vibrant colors.Setting it up was also no issue, and I’ve had no connectivity issues. Works great with Google Home. Will be happy to buy more LIFX bulbs in the future.

The best lightbulb – with a short lifespan
This was by far (and still is) one of my most favorite light bulbs, bright, vivid, good for parties, but has a horrible setup especially if you move wifi networks. Setup can range anywhere to be between 5-60 min. Beyond setup it’s great. There’s no hub required, it is bright, interactive, responsive, and lasts about 2 years (bought mine late Apr 2021). The price has dropped since then, but still for a 40 dollar light bulb, it should last for longer than two years. But that aside, I would spend any money to get a light bulb as great as this and I will be buying again.

I love the wide range of colours, how long this product lasts, and especially that it doesnât break if it falls while in a lamp! It doesnât flicker at all, unless you set it to act like a flickering candle (it does this pretty well!) I wish it was better for reacting to sound for more fun but itâs great and my second one in a few years!

Me gusto el cambio de colores, y la luz tiene muy buen brillo para mi recámara, compré elDe dos unidades, al instalarlos elPrimero noBatalle nada emparejarlo pero elSegundo batalle un buen, tube que activarlo desde la app oficial y luego eliminarlo. Para poder agregarlo en HomeKit de apple.Pero después de todo eso meHa encantado.

Los focos son de una calidad inigualable, sin embargo, la instalación es un verdadero infierno.Miren que estoy habituado a trabajar profesionalmente con equipos electrónicos complejos, y nunca me habÃa frustrado tanto, como lo hice tratando de hacer funcionar la conexión WiFi de estos focos.La app tiene demasiados bugs y para que los focos se puedan instalar, se requiere hacer muchos cambios a la configuración del módem y el celular. Incluso, a veces se requiere algo de suerte, ya que a veces funciona y otras no.Nota: Tengo 4 focos de estos y todos dan el mismo problema. Tal vez otros no tuvieron problema, pero la probabilidad de que los tengan, es alta.
