This was my second time trying to find this in the right size for my door and it worked! The part that goes around the door is thin enough to allow it to properly close and open with no issues. Once paced on your door it stays! No wiggle or undoing and best part is how simple it was to put together. 100% percent recommend for those who are renting and donât want to deal with mounting the actual camera to the door frame.

Quality product just as advertised
I ordered this for my new home as I am a renter I did not want to screw our Ring Camera into the frame. This looked like the next best thing. It was shipped and delivered promptly. The install was a breeze and our camera fit perfectly inside the mount. It snuggly clamps to our front door and we have had no issues since. Would strongly recommend.

Works as intended
The doorbell mount is super easy to install and will fit a number of video doorbells (just be sure to check the mount measurements). It came with a number of foam pieces to ensure a tight fit so that your doorbell doesn’t gets moved outta place inside the mount. The only drawback for me is the width of the mount but most brands have a similar width. If you have the same door as I do (refer to the video) the mount will not sit flush but can still be used.

Not for all doors
Initially when I tested it, i tested it for an inside door (bedroom) and that worked great but for my (and several family members and friends) front door, it didn’t work so well. The front doors leading outside has to fit a little more snugly for security. as a result this item does not fit for the door as it juts out a little bit and does not allow the door to close at all. also, the front opening is narrow and may be blocking some light gathering sensor s for night time viewing so i feel the view at night could have been brighter. oh well, concept sounded nice anyway.

I love it
It is an easy install, secure, and anti-theft. I had the first one that had the special screw at the bottom and you had to have a special screw driver to remove it. But this one have the screw I’m the back of the mount that goes again the door ðª so it is more secure in my opinion. I didn’t have any issues with the first one but I just wanted to upgrade to the newer version and like the design. It’s great for renters or people who do not want to physically mount it do your home or hard wire the camera ð
