With 4 black foster kittens I didn’t want to muck about with nailpolish on their nails but thought this was an excellent solution, and mostly, it wasThe good:- Clear vibrant colours- Easy to put on- Sizes fit from newborn to 12 weeks and would have easily fitted until adulthood- Able to identify the babies at a glance and accurately track growths and habitsThe bad- They snag on each other easily so then you’re left with two removed collars- I had to replace 3 of them during a 9 week period for just not sticking well anymoreThe ugly- The mother ATE one, which was vomited up later

The velcro on the collars in my opinion was weak. The kittens could pull it off of themselves. I used them for a litter of six kittens to identify them since four were identical color of solid black except for one with a white star on her chest. I then could tell who was doing what and raising six is like having a barrel of monkeys. Three kittens kept their collars on so they worked part of the time. I wish the company offered all bright colors and eliminate the duller colors from the set too. The price was right, but frisky kittens can pull them off.

After 1 week old we put these on our puppies.. Our puppies have just turned 4 weeks and they’ve worked great. Couple times a day I check I can easily get 1 finger with slack so it’s not tight in them nor so loose they can get a paw in and strangled. They’ve held up really well. I was worried some people said the velcro was sharp and injured their puppies.. But these ones are soft edges and not cutting into our pups. We will continue to use. Once they out grow the small size we will just use 2 collars. Since we got 15 collars for 3 puppies!!

I ordered a few different sets because every single pack I ordered were sharp on the edges. These are the softest ones – even the Velcro part is soft! So no damage to puppy necks like others. These have lasted 4 weeks of size readjustment and the Velcro is still sticking. They likely wonât last much longer now due to the short length as these are chunky GSD pups! But the length has been perfect up until now – any bigger would not have worked for when they were born. So I would definitely recommend these. Price is brilliant. Moving onto clip collars now.
