Pleasantly surprised!!
I was skeptical this would work considering the price was significantly lower than others on the market. Some of the negative reviews I saw talked about it not being easy to use, but I really donât see how it couldâve been easier. Yes there are safety features in place, but if you read the directions, itâs very simple.I go to the gym multiple times a week so I frequently shave my under arms (every other day) to avoid stubble, but as Iâve gotten older (42 yr old female) I was starting to get irritation after shaving my under arms and bikini line so wanted to try this alternative. I opted just to start with underarms to make sure it took it before committing to any other areas. I went straight for level 5 (highest) and the cooling feature is a huge help. No pain at all. I used it twice a week and it took less than a minute each arm pit. From plugging it in to turning it on to putting on the safety glasses to operating it to putting it away is seriously three minutes when I was just doing my underarms as a trial run.I am happy to report after consistently using it twice a week for five weeks as recommended for underarms, I am now 5-6 days in between needing to shave and even that was just for slight stubble. I really think after a couple more weeks of use, I will be mostly hair free under my arms. I paid my aesthetician for laser hair removal on my lip and even she touches it up every couple months after a professional grade (expensive) laser so I donât expect to be completely hairless forever, but Iâve already had my expectations succeeded with this productI just my started the bikini line area and Iâm only two uses down. Itâs slightly more uncomfortable than the underarms which I guess makes sense because itâs a more sensitive area, but I still would not call it painful. Hopeful Iâll have the same results to report in a few weeks time.I am medium brown hair and medium tone skin.

Interesting device to remove hair using high intensity flashes of light
I wanted to try this device to remove some patches of hair and to test it out I used it on my ankle. I really don’t understand the details of how this device works to achieve hair removal but from what I gather it uses laser light to slowly burn off the hair follicle so it will stop growing. When I tested the device on my ankle area, I followed the directions and plugged in the device, turned it on and it displayed how many treatments were still available. I pressed the button while I had it on my skin and an intense bright flash of light came out and my skin felt a tiny prick of heat. The instructions said that treatment takes 8 minutes but could be less for different parts of the body. After you press the button, there is a display counter that goes down a tick each time the button is pressed and the light treatment goes off. I’m guessing that this is the countdown to the life of the light emitting bulb. I don’t think there is actually a laser in the device, the manual says it uses pulses of light in a certain wavelength to stimulate the melanin around the hair follicle to put it in a resting state so that eventually it will just fall off.Results will vary greatly depending on your skin tone and hair color. The manual is very informative and guides you on how to operate the device and tips on how to achieve better results. Treatments can take upwards of 8 weeks before you see results.Please follow the instruction guide and wear the included eye protection since the light flash is very intense and will damage your eye if you look at it.
