Replaced my MAC keyboard perfectly
I loved my MAC keyboard until I spilled coffee on it and ruined it. I contemplated paying Apple prices to get another because no other keyboard is SO low-profile and “key” quiet. Then I saw this knock off and thought I’d give it a try. It’s close enough to the original keyboard that I didn’t mind keeping it. It’s been a few weeks now that I’ve been using it and I’ve had zero issues. I love that it’s practically identical to the original so I don’t have to get used to anything new. It can be difficult to find keyboards like this with the 10-key pad included, so I’m really quite pleased with this keyboard so far!

Mostly Good: UPDATE!
⢠The Good: Looks and feels very close to the Mac silver & white keyboard. It has the same low profile and action. The price is quite a bit lower than the Mac and was plug-and-play on my Studio Mac.⢠Might bother some: No USB on keyboard. Not the full amount of FN keys – 15 not 18.⢠Problematic: The cap lock and num lock light do not come on. This is especially problematic for passwords.I would return it but can’t really do without it, and my Mac keyboard is toast.UPDATE: This seller went way above and beyond to correct this situation. I can’t commend them more on their customer service!! The newly shipped product has a similar problem though, with the Cap Lock light. The replacement works intermittently. It seems that if I unplug and then “re-plug-in” the keyboard, the cap-lock indicator light works for a while. It’s not perfect but works well enough!

Excellent replacement for wireless apple keyboard
I’ve used the bluetooth Apple numeric keypads (I have two that I rotate based on charge) for 5+ years, but in the last few months they have both started suffering very annoying connection issues. Keystrokes glitch, typos galore, and no amount of PRAM resets would fix the issue. 2020 MacBook Pro with M1 processor so by no means ancient, and a new laptop is not in the cards. This keyboard is positively fantastic!! Nearly identical in size, very smooth keystrokes with an only slightly deeper stroke than the Apple version. For $40 you cannot go wrong. I now have two very expensive paperweights but I was about to throw them out the window anyways due to frustration. Buy this without question.

Irregular caps lock LED and loss of print on keys
I used to LOVE MacAlly products because they’d always been as good as Apple products and worked just as easily. But lately, I’ve esperienced prblems with their funactionality and surability of their keyboards. This keyboard is a prime example of both. The LED for caps lock will freqently not turn on, resulting in having to re-type in the event I’ve accidentally pressed it instead of the A key. And though I’ve had the keyboard only for 6 months, but there is also considerable loss of print on the keys for the most frequently-used letters (photo). I hope that MacAlly will make improvements based on the recommendations of the users.

Mac replacement keyboard
I like that you get what you typed in and not a lag from the blue tooth one and you have to have a wired connection to setup a Mac computer anyway feels nice and comfortable good weight well made
