Strong magnet, no other issues.
The base is sort of large but it sticks really well to any appropriate metal surface. Very well. Also, the rubber coating helps to prevent any rattling, scratching or slippage. Yes, this will work well for me. Keep in mind I’m not a prolific videographer.

Upon unboxing, it appeared smaller and wimpier than it looks in the photos. I thought no way is this going to hold a trail-cam, but it does. So, I’m happy.

strong magnets, would trust on my car
This is a really strong magnet base and the metal arms mean less chance of breaking as you tighten them. Once you lock it in position, this thing isn’t moving. I like that I can remove the spring clip and use the 1/4″ thread screw to mount my instacam 360 x4.

The rubber coating is a must
The magnet is a good strength, holding the camera in place without being so excessive to make working with it challenging. The rubber coating is essential for protecting surfaces and does not hurt the magetuc attachment strength. Overall very convenient for additional camera placement possibilities at a reasonable price justifies 5 stars.

You can use this with a go pro or your phone. You can also use a DJI action camera if you have the adapter for mounting the camera. This is well made.

Quality mount
I have a few magnetic ball heads, this is the first double jointed arm one though. I like that it gives me different possible angles vs using a single ball head. The construction is metal, aside from rubber on the magnet, and the top of the tripod thread lock nut. It’s impressively built, and is going to work great for my action cameras. The included cell phone holder works surprisingly well, and there’s even a GoPro style mount. A necessary spacer / washer needs to be installed between the magnet and arm. The problem is it’s white, and comes in a white bag. I tossed mine out, and had to go retrieve it!

Versatile and sturdy magnet mount
This is a surprisingly strong magnet mount that works well for filming outdoors or even an interview in the office. Included make arm adds to the versatility as you can adjust angles to meet your filming needs. You can use the claw/finger connection or use the ¼ thread to install QR system of your choice. Iâm not brave enough to mount a camera to my car but it should technically work. Overall, great tool to have when you have access to a steel pole or plate. Recommended.
