This soap smells great!
I had been a user of the Marlowe apricot scrub soap bars for a few years and decided to give these a try. They are my new everyday soap bars. I have gotten compliments from 100% of the people who have gotten close enough to me to sniff me. Itâs a very subtle fragrance. It lathers super well and leaves me feeling clean but not poisoned. It doesnât dry out my skin at all. Sometimes I cheat and use it to wash my face and it works. Itâs not as good as my face wash though.

The best soap I’ve ever used
Marlowe Charcoal Soap is great. It gets a 5/5 for moisturizing & it’s one of the best bars of soap I’ve used. It leaves your skin feeling moisturized, clean. The scent is masculineI use this in combination with a Tea Tree Body Wash from New York Biology & raw shea butter after i shower. I read somewhere that dermatologist recommend using triple milled bar soap vs body wash. I’ve found that some body washes are drying with the exception of Neutrogena & Tea Tree Body wash, haven’t tried the Marlowe body wash yet but maybe in the future.And the products all play well together. The Tea Tree Body Wash from New York Biology, Marlowe Charcoal Bar Soap & the shea butter or Jergens Ultra Healing. The shea butter just kinda lays in the cut & does its thing. The end result is really nice if you haven’t tried it yet, Amazon has Raw shea butter. I get the 1lb clump but it’s easy to use. Marlowe Charcoal Bar Soap makes a huge difference. 5/5

Cleanse properties
Great packaging though the bar is very crumbly taking it from inside. One of the most interesting points is its fragrance, however. Refreshingly clean. Masculine, yet perhaps itâs the same as Pine Sol or Pine Tar, if not for the combination of oils used to produce its scent? Non-drying. Leaving the skin really soft and lathers easily. The charcoal does have a residue of grey/black. It isnât permanent of course, only soap stained. Otherwise a decent charcoal-based product to use everyday.

Great exfoliating soap
I like the rough, sandpaper feeling, like I’m getting all the dirt and grime off from the yard or garage. They all smell great too.

Very good value
Smells amazing and made my skin smell amazingly clean. I def plan to buy this bar along with their other products monthly or bi monthly. Marlowe is now my go to personal hygiene company. They make amazing products with no horrible chemicals(that i know of) and their products are equally priced compared to others, also i can add them(as of now) to my sub&save, so it helps save even a little more and they auto ship, as long as they’re in stock lol

Not my Favorite
The soap works well, but I believe the other exfoliating soaps from Marlowe work better. Those have a bit of grit that I personally prefer for my needs. The soap is natural and leaves my skin feeling clean. Itâs a good size and lasts at least a month and a half, so I think itâs worth the cost. Overall not a bad option but I just prefer something with a bit of grit.
