Hunan district is the birthplace of tea in China. Jishin Shounin, high priest of Kaijuusen Temple, introduced tea tree seeds from China to Wazuka, Uji District in the 13th century. The tea cultivated here was the first official tea of the Imperial Palace.
It was here that MatchaDNA personally selected Hiroshi, a local family tea farmer to provide exclusive organic Matcha green tea from his Estate to MatchaDNA.This tea is carefully harvested for MatchaDNA exclusively by Hiroshi, his brother and wife. Our family farm is at a high altitude, away from chemical usage on lower grown tea gardens.

Good quality and color. Mixes fine with a small amount of hot water using a small spring mixer in my mug. Add soy milk and maple syrup and Iâve got a delicious, earthy, energizing drink. I buy this brand consistently.

I love this matcha!!! Usually matcha from different places has a fishy smell. This matcha does not have that and it I feel so energized and focused after I drink it!! Amazing quality

If you like Matcha than this is a great product
I’ll start this review by stating that I was talked into trying Matcha by a friend of mine. Little did I realize that drinking Matcha tea was like joining a cult or cross-fit. If you’re doing it correctly you’ll need some additional Matcha tools to make your cup of tea and yes it is a ritual. To me it tastes like grass and yes I do enjoy green tea. I’ve tried it a few ways to include iced with almond milk. I have successfully gotten it to a point where I can drink it without cussing out the can. There is a lot of Matcha tea in this container so if you don’t like it or aren’t sure, move on this is not your level of commitment. I now have guest Matcha tea until, well the year 2055.

I really like this matcha, not to mention that $20 for 16 ounces (226 servings) is a STEAL. So many others are this price for only a 30 day supply. This is going to last such a long time. I always make hot lattes with some cream and itâs delicious.
