suspiciously feels like fish food
The length of the scoop exceeds the dimensions of the container and i refuse to think further about why they did that. personally i love earthy tasting things i eat a lot of it and i found this to taste like nothing bummer for me but if u want it to not add any flavor to your concotions this is safe. i initially wanted blue spirulina but i was tricked by myself being too stoney and liking the price. anyways i added this to my turmeric juice this morning and on the real i felt zero hunger all day and when i ate dinner i felt full at half my typical portion. my main goal is reducing pain, inflammation and promoting nerve regrowth which is hopefully also happening but this increased metabolism/appetite suppresant combo goes hard

After reading about the benefits of spirulina online, I decided to give this a tryâand Iâm so glad I did! Iâve added a scoop of spirulina to my morning kale smoothies. Superfood, healthy, high in protein and antioxidants
Spirulina has high amounts of calcium, iron and magnesium and I’ve heard it’s been used for weight loss and to help with diabetes, stress & anxiety (and even ADHD) so it’s really healthy BUT it is an algae so it has a STRONG taste.So I made a smoothie: 1 cup of almond milk, 1 ripe banana, 2 scoops plant-based protein powder, 1 tbsp. chocolate powder and 1 teaspoon spirulina and blended with my stick blender. (I also swapped the banana with 1 cup of blueberries and added a drop of agave…)I actually like it and I’ve noticed an increase in energy; I will keep trying it.

Blends Well!
I am so thankful that stuff like this is so widely available now! Spirulina is such a great product to have on hand. I’ve really enjoyed this brand in particular. The powder is smooth, has no discernible flavor when properly mixed, and (though this doesn’t have much to do with the health benefits) I can’t get over how beautifully pigmented the powder is. It’s got a sliiiiight ocean-y smell, but again, as long as you mix it up well, you don’t notice that.

Increased energy and nutrition
So good in smoothies!! I follow a vegan diet and am always looking for different ways to get my protein and additional vitamins. I feel so much better about myself when Iâve had a smoothie with Spirulina powder in it. I do feel like I have increased energy when I use the powder consistently. The powder on its own does have an acquired taste, and I recommend mixing it with fruit like pineapple, banana, and lots of ice. So many health benefits for a great price!
