Office Light
My home office doesn’t have overhead lighting, so I hung a cable outlet and use this light with HomeKit. Works great, I like being able to adjust the color. I will but more as I need them, as they work great!

Recommend.
I didnât know how bright these would be in white mode. They are much brighter than other LED flood lights Iâve purchased and these are WiFi connected smart bulbs. The RGB colors are pretty dim but I mainly purchased for the shades of white it produces. Highly recommended for lighting up your yard and then later if you have a party you can switch it to the color mode if you want.

Came with the wrong code
It was really frustrating experience to have it arrive and when I opened it and attempted to pair it to HomeKit with the incorrect sticker. It was indeed a HomeKit sticker but the pairing code was completely wrong. The instructions for solving this was nonexistent on their support page. When attempting to go through the app, because it was a HomeKit enabled, was defaulting to HomeKit processes which was going nowhere.Solution: When setting up, AVOID anything that attempts to pair/setup through HK. Once fully paired through the Meross app, youâll get the HK code that youâll actually need. And setup through the bulbâs WiFi signal. As for the bulb itself, so far so good. It is noticeably brighter than the average lightbulb but I think still doesnât fully satisfy the dumb bulb I had on that was 1500lumens.

works great with HomeKit
trying out different lights. Got this one to see how well it integrates with Apple HomeKit. It paired up incredibly fast. I didn’t even have to use the Meross app. The light is bright. It behaves a little wonky when you try to make it do different colors., but for different shades of white light, it works fine. It was a bit expensive, relative to some other bulbs of a similar nature. I put it in a light can over the kitchen sink and it seems to be performing admirably in that role.

Runs hot, wonât connect to app
Wonât connect to HomeKit or the Meross app despite about a dozen resets and trying the many workarounds. Reset from a wall switch isnât reliable, had to plug the bulb into a table lamp to even get that to happen. Runs EXTREMELY hot.

Unable to connect to Homekit
I purchased 6 of these for a living room scene: unfortunately, I was unable to get even one to connect. I have a Hue hub with ~15 lights attached to it, and another ~10 WiFi lights in the house. Most were easy to connect, a couple took a few attempts. But nothing like these Meross bulbs! It may very well be some local configuration, and they’ll work fine for you… but I gave up after investing about 3.5 hours of trial and error.Meross email tech support was reasonably prompt, but the suggestions weren’t the sort of things you should have to do: a) if you’re running both a 2.4 and 5 ghz network, turn off the 5 during installation; b) if you’re using WPA 3, turn it off while you install. I did it all, but no luck. If they had worked, they might have been a nice value compared to Hue, but I also invested lots of time with no success. YMMV

Not water tight
Still works alright and I really like the Meross brand, but this light has a good amount of water in it only after a couple months. Donât see lasting very long.
