Easy to setup and automate – works consistently
These plugged work great. I have them in each of my childrenâs rooms with an automation to turn on and off based on an Apple Calendar (when I have parenting time) to avoid things left on for days at a time, like their electric blanket. They work consistently and are easy to override in Apple Home or via the button on the plug. Easy does it.

They work great and havenât lost connection at all. I canât say that for other brands I have. Easy to use app and connect to Alexa and Siri with easy and they stay connected.

Does not natively connect to homekit
After about 45 min each I got these to connect to the Meross app and then use homekit through a homebridge connection. They are supposed to connect natively to homekit but 2 hours of trying and they would not natively connect.

Awesome support, replaced defective piece, works with Apple HomeKit
[Edit] The support team reached out and asked for details of the problem. And then they sent me a replacement which works great. I thought they would ask me to update my review but it has been a month now and they never asked, despite providing a replacement. Which is the reason I am updating this review on my own. It is only fair.[Previously] I bought four of these and one worked ok for a couple of months and then started flashing amber continuously and stopped working. I followed instructions and tried resetting it but that doesn’t do anything.

Not Much to Say Other Than It Works!
There’s seriously not much to hate about this smart home product. It works great, and it’s consistent with other Meross’ product setup & design.If I had to complain about anything, it’d be these three things:1. HomeKit QR code is on the top of the device as you can see on the picture. Not the best look design wise and wish it was on the bottom. You can move it but you’d have to peel it off.2. Not intuitive what is Switch 1 / Switch 2. You’d think the left & top button would be Switch 1 but it’s not. Maybe it’s me, but I keep getting those mixed up.3. Still 2.4 GHz only. I know it’s the standard in the smart home industry, but I would love to have just one SSID/band to manage.Other than that, there’s a lot to like:1. It works like you’d expect it to2. How it works in the app is awesome compared to its other gadgets. Instead of me to click into the device to turn on/off Switch 1/2, I can easily do it on the dashboard. I can also click on the power button to turn both on/off! Really smart though I mainly use my voice anyway.3. Works with all the smart platforms (HomeKit/Google/Alexa)4. Really quick and easy to install.

Will not remain connected to the router in Apple Home, will not update in Meross app
I own other Meross Smart Plug Minis (MSS110) and they have been also had problems remaining connected, but not this bad. I thought two smart outlets in the same plug would be better than singles so I tried this Meross Smart Plug Dual (MSS120). I am very disappointed. It took many, many tries to get it added using the Meross app, during which I prompted to use the reset procedure just about every time. After it was added as a device in Apple Home I had to add it separately in the Meross app. It would not maintain a connection. Occasionally I could get it to turn on or off, but normally Iâd get No Response. I tried a firmware update. It had an update available (via the Meross app), no success. I tried installing the update more than a few times, no success. It has never remained connected to the WiFi for more than a few hours and it is less than 8 feet from the router. Now I have the RED LIGHT OF DOOM! There is no electro-magnetic interference, just the lamp that is plugged into it and an Apple Mini nearby. I bought this in October, 2023, might be too late to return it. P.S. was just going to take a picture of it and has mysteriously reconnected and the RED LIGHT OF DOOM is green again, very frustrating, very unreliable.

Don’t forget about us Apple peeps!
This purchase was my very first “Smarthome” purchase. I needed something that worked with Apple’s Siri & Homekit for automation of my lighting.Once I set these up (one controls both lamps in the living room, the other my two lamps in the entry) they have worked flawlessly. I have set my lights to come on every day at 5:30pm and, when they do, I still get a kick out of it every time. I can also control each light separately using Siri and Homekit.Shortly after I bought these, I realized that I could also do the same thing using Smartbulbs but I’ve left these in place for now. Eventually, I’ll move these to control anything I need to that isn’t a bulb but that I’d want to control the on/off periods for. I love these though. I love them especially for controlling lamps in pairs really easily and quickly.I’m surprised and impressed that I have had ZERO issues. They have never once not performed or had any connection issues. Pretty impressive given that they cater to multiple platforms that typically don’t play well together. Apple users don’t have near enough choices, let alone good solid ones that work. I highly recommend.

Two independently switchable outlets, only one (pair) fits on a duplex outlet. Reliable connection.
Two completely independent outlets, each separately controllable from HomeKit. However, the device is tall and wide and only one of them will fit a standard American duplex plug…they won’t fit one-above-the-other on an outlet, although you can use the other outlet for a corded device. These remarkably easily paired with HomeKit. Connections were stable. Overall, a pretty great product.
