Fits Like a Glove
This case feels sturdy, it opens on both sides which is so cool, it has a cold shoe mount which is so cool, this is a great buy to protect your Osmo Action 5. It also came with screen and lens protection, which was a lovely bonus. I’ll be telling everyone about this.

Great addition
I bought this one because both sides open and give me access to the important things like changing the battery and the micro sd card on one side and you can access the charging port on the other side, it also gives you a cold shoe and several 1/4 20 options unlike the one that came with mine. I would recommend this one to anyone that has the Dji osmo action 5 pro camera. Well worth the price. I think the buttons on this make it easier to activate the camera. I could just go on and on. The only thing I would change is I would have made the bottom of this cage the same way they did on the one side with the quick release connection and a 1/4 20 connection

This cases is a perfect fit. I love how it comes with screen protectors and a lense cap. While I would have preferred silicone this is pretty protective and makes me feel great knowing my camera is extra safe from drops or messy toddler hands.

Great cage to protect your Action 4 and 5.
This Action 4 and 5 cage from Amazear shows that the makers considered some of the missed features of the stock DJI cage. First this cage from Amazear opens on both ends of the camera, not only the right side. This is important because the battery is located on the left side of the camera so if you want to replace the battery without having to take the camera out of the cage, you can do so. The other feature of this cage is that the buttons that turn on the camera and start/stop recordings have a spring to them. The stock cage has buttons that are made of a rubbery material that doesn’t feel as nice as the buttons on this cage.Great product.

The cage fits the Action 5 camera very well
This cage fits the Action 5 camera very well. All ports and buttons are accessible and even the DJI Action 4/5 microphone adapter fits. Since it is not mentioned in the product listing: the weight of the cage is 71g. One potential flaw of the cage is that the two spring-loaded red buttons rattle a little bit. A workaround appears to be to attach a tiny piece of electrical tape to the buttons on the inside of the cage. Time will tell if this permanently solves the issue.

These guys were the first to offer a third party cage for the Action 5. It should be mentioned, the Oem cage that comes with the Action 5 is not bad by any means. So donât expect a world of difference with this one. However, you have an aluminum construction and all the right mounts and doors. Not much to be critical of. It looks good and snaps together well. They designed and built this one as a pretty good accessory.Do I recommend it, ya, why not. But itâs not gonna do allot the original doesnât.

Tiens bien la caméra en place. Est largement plus qualitatif que la protection de la action 5 en plastique. Pratique de pouvoir retirer les batteries et de brancher la caméra sans avoir besoin de retirer la protection, au contraire de celle fournie de base. Der Käfig passt perfekt für die Osmo action 5 pro! Batterie- und Kartenfach sind gut erreichbar, die Konstruktion sehr stabil. Wie sich der Käfig in der Praxis bewährt wird man erst nach einiger Zeit feststellen können. Bis jetzt auf jeden Fall sehr zufrieden. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
