Great camera for a GREAT price!!
I purchased this Gear Pro for my 13 year old son, who kept asking for a Go Pro. I could not see myself paying that kind of money, so I wanted to get him a camera that was lighter on my pocket but that would still be good for his age. Needless to say at this point he LOVES it. He likes the color, and that it came with handle bar & helmet attachment, water proof case, and a clip. Everything works fine straight from the box, he has taken pictures, video, and submerged it into the water. I ordered him a 16GB SD micro card and it gave him almost 1,000 pictures and over 3 hours of recording time. The camera is easy to attach to the attachments and overall is easy to use. There are only a few buttons, which makes it that much easier to use and handle. If you are like me and looking for something cheaper and still similar to a go pro, especially for a child I would recommend this camera. The price is definitely right!! I am very happy with my purchase and that my son is happy and enjoys the camera.

Cant be beat! Now is beat!
This cam does what I need it to do and do it very well! I use it both as a dash cam for the auto and on my motorcycle. I’m on a HD dresser and even with all the shaking, the quality is still very good! You can spend $400 on a Go Pro, but for less that $50, this cant be beat!The day after I wrote a 5 star review the cam now does not work after 3 months of use, oh well, I’ll see if I can get warranty staisfaction

Great Price, Great Camera.
This ‘Gear Pro’ is a great camera. It shots 5MP 720P ONLY. It is the low end of HD with only 5MP but works great and the touch screen/playback is perfect to make sure you get the right shot. It also takes 5, 3 and 1MP stills. I love the feel and size of the camera, especially the color. It comes with all types of mounts and a waterproof case, which isn’t 100% water proof. It lets in some water, but a minimal amount. I still love it. But I got it mainly for that and am a bit disappointed there but not anywhere else. It is super fun for someone who wants to have fun making videos with friends for a small price. GET THE BASIC WARRANTY just in case. Don’t spend more than 50$ for one, or else your getting ripped off.

First: Make sure you use a CLASS 10 or U1 Micro SD card!!! Micro SD cards come in different speed ratings, and if you get a slower one, you will get glitchy recording and a lagging audio.The camera itself works well. It is 720P…NOT 1080P. Not as crisp and clear as a 300+ dollar camera, but for the price you pay, it is decent! You can see some example videos I shot here:[…]Now, as an action camera, it is very wide angle frame of view, so it is great at things close up in good lighting, but not great for the things in the background at a distance.The mounts are nice, but I took off a star because they are VERY cheap and I had the screw pop out in the suction cup mount. The water proof case and the other clip on mounting case use a standard 1/4 * 20 camera mount though, so you can browse amazon and get a replacement if need be.

The camera looks nice, but the batery never fully charged so I had to keep on charging it very day, after about 3 weeks the camera holder just broke and the camera fell on the floor while riding my bicycle. If you are looking for a camera try a different brand, this camera is unexpensive but its a bad cuality one.

Imposed! I’ve used others on the market and quality if the recorded images doesn’t differ. All the accessories that one needs to either use on the handle bars of my dirt bike (personally i prefer because it’s stationary, riding requires you to move ones head). Mounting a top of the helmet is great I just disoriented when watching the video in playback. Personal preferences aside this combo is a definite must have! The price is extremely reduced from competitors, yet still the same quality and includes the accessories.

Good cameras for the price
So far it seems to be working fine. I will update this review latter. Someone needs to make a better video on “How to Operate” this camera. So get busy you You Tube video makers! The instructions have very tiny print and I can barely read them with a bloody magnifying glass. Other than that no problems so far. I have had it a few months but have not used it much yet. Seems to be a fairly good action camera “FOR THE PRICE” UPDATE: I mounted this camera to the handlebars of my Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 C That totally ruined the camera. So I recommend using a helmet mount or a harness mount. The 1200 Evo vibrates too much for this camera. I removed one star because it broke the very first time I used it on the bike. At that point I had owned it too long to return it. Oh well, the Go Pro I replaced it with is working out great. NOTER : I have only used the helmet and the harness mount wioth the Go-Pro. Ride Safe
